I'm pretty sure its the other way around with regards to colour and price, Fact is there are a lot less White and Black ones around particularly in the last blobs (Widetrack) which is what we all seem to be referring to ??
I know from experience of purchasing mine last year and all the threads I read / posted in, the general opinion seemed to be to expect to pay a premium for White or black.
I often look around at what's up for sale and always seems to me blue is far easier to come across and in general cheaper.
just talking from experience of the last 3 years of looking / owning my current one, either way at the rate they are being broken for spares the good ones will hold or indeed increase in value as someone questioned the other day.

Selling
Would anyone sell their scooby on this website?
What are pro's? I have read plenty posts from members running down prices then being contradict by others wanting to keep prices higher and therefore being consumpted.

I wouldn't personally sell on here because of exactly what you just stated,
The was an example the other week of a guy posting a 05 STI in Black, very nice tidy car, was asking 10K for it and quite a few agreed then others were posting **** like its a 6K or 8K car at best and the thread drifted off into people arguing about spec, prices etc..
Always seem to get people with no interest of buying butting in saying its worth nothing.
Pistonheads is the best place IMO, often look on there just to see what around.

I look everyday on every car sales website. Please point me in the right direction of the cheaper blue widetracks for sale?
Ive seen numerous black and silver ones for sale recently ranging between £7500-£9000, but any blue ones seem to get snapped up after 25 seconds and then are swiftly put up for sale by clives performance or cheshire performance for £10,000-£12,000 (bar the odd high mileage example).
It may have been different last year but its 100% like this at the moment. Like i said please point me in the right direction, heck theres even a drink in it for you if you find me one !!! Haha
