I've just got an S6 today after having iPhone for 4years.
No regrets, although I havent taken any photos yet.
I liked my iPhone 5 but the battery, memory and iTunes was just utter ****e. I also dropped it in a bucket of water so have been using an old iPhone 4 since new year and that was awful.
If iPhone 7 had come out now, it wouldn't have been such an easy choice but as I've got a Samsung tablet too I'm sure I'd still have chose the S6.

Great choice, the Galaxy S6 is currently the best phone on the market and has a fantastic 16mp camera with fast tracking autofocus that can also capture 4k video straight out of the box!

Samsung has reduced bloatware on their latest Android phone, Apple has gone the otherway and added more bloat and now have a Watch advert which I can't remove other than move it to an iCrap folder along with all the other useless bloat apps.

I think it's 100k and it's not a running app which is the complaint on Samsung phones, who knows what data they're collecting, they were called out recently for spying on TV usage, imagine what they're doing with your phone, shocking.

Everyone knows Google collects data, it uses the information to create better products, have you tried Google Now, it's fantastic. Also it has some of the best security features in the industry to protect that data, which is more than can be said of Apple, there're plenty of nude celebrity pics floating around since the iCloud leak for instance. Apple knew months in advance about the security flaw but did nothing, poor J-Law.

Apple too are selling your viewing data to third parties as well, but at least Google are open about it unlike Apple.

Being old and none techie , i have a problem with mixing technologies .Useful as they are, i cant see the point of extolling the virtues of how good a camera is on a phone when its primary function is to use as a phone. I see ads for phones that proceed to say how good the camera is but nothing about the phone and its spec. Maybe its just me

Seriously though, camera are pretty much a fundamental piece of tech on phones now, sure they won't beat SLRs etc but are comparable to many compact cameras and some flagship phones take even better shots that some of the latter. You always have your phone on you and that gives you the opportunity to capture moments that might otherwise be missed whilst you're trying to dig out that camera. Also social media plays a huge part too and there is no better way of sharing the moment you've captured in a quick and easy fashion. The current flagship phones, iOS and Android, now take some stunning pictures.

It was a phone, now it's also a music player, a personal organiser, a games console, a TV, a movie player, a health monitor, a method of payment, an web browser, a shopping medium, a messenger, an emailer, a news feeder, a video camera, a SATNAV, etc etc.

I dont have a problem with so many features on a phone. What i dont understand is advertsthat dont mention anything about the actual item on screen.

Loving the S6 so far, no regrets.
Only thing I don't like is its harder to fit into pockets and be sure it won't fall out!!
Battery is no better than iPhone 4 or 5 although I do think this has got more things running and going on so probably is performing a little better.
Took a pic earlier out in the sun, couldn't see what I was taking because it was too bright so it's literally just a point and click hobbies.

I'm not trying to sell it, just my first impression. I like iphones and I like Samsung, doesn't bother me who has what or why. Personal preference isn't it.
Though the battery might have been better that's all. Saying that, I'm faffing about on it a lot more than I was using the iPhone and it's got a power saving mode on it which actually is really good.
