So, how many of you won't be able to sleep tonight, and even tomorrow night; due to the result bulletins?

I admit that I was awake all night last time, to hear the result bulletins.

The problem for Labour is that they chose the wrong brother, and I don't mean David, they should of gone for the middle brother Glenn

Cool.

I will do an all-nighter again tomorrow night. Need satisfactory sleep tonight (well, I'll try) for better concentration, in order to mark the right candidate tomorrow.

Well, we went to vote at lunch time, just after 1pm. It was my daughter's first time, and guess what, there was no one at the polling station apart from two men under 30 with very bored faces; one checking your details, and another one giving you a ballot paper.

I know that we only have just over thousand peeps living in our village, but that was seriously a very pathetic show. I remember we had at least 4 more people crossing our paths last time.

When we were getting out, we saw a couple getting in, to drop their vote. Again, looking really bored and fed up. I think the voters need to have a coffee or something before getting in to vote FFS! Those two volunteer lads should also drink coffee to keep awake.

Good one, jon and pretty accurate to my thought process tbh. I'd just love to bang yours and F1's head together so hard that you both see nothing else but trillions of tiny stars dancing in front of your eyes for an hour, at least!

Your comments about your village polling station reminded me of some local elections when my son was just too young to vote. I took him down to the polling station with me. At the time he had long hair and a large pair of Raybans perched on his face. I told the old dears checking registration details that he was a UN Observer so was entitled to come inside. This rather threw them as they just didn't cotton on. Still makes me smile.

Regarding today's election I reckon DC will do much better than expected and it will be interesting to see who loses their seat or fails to win. Clegg (he-he)? Farage?

Sorry to see so many on here supporting the UKIP racists.

My daughter was surprised at looking inside the village centre, as it has changed quite a bit since she last went there as a child. The ballot paper lad (he was urban, not our local country chap) was amazed to learn from her how it looked like in past, and how it looks like, now. She even told him that it is haunted, which it isn't. Very cheeky.

Let's see what happens. I wish I could keep awake all night to listen to the bulletins, but I can't. I have a jam-packed day at work tomorrow.

I'm just glad the traitorous Labour aren't set to fair well.

Remove the the clowns voting UKIP and it doesn't look far away from the exit polls.
