Mind you one year we went we could've got in for free because they started directing people in to the competitors area at the top of the rally stage. So we were able to get on the tractor back to the main arena and at no point were our tickets checked.
im going to both, completely different events but cant wait for either.

I have never been myself, but would like to go one year. I dont think the cost is too bad, OK its not cheap especially for a family, but when you compare it to the cost of your average Premiership football ticket at least you a full days entertainment.

Trust me Goodwood don't make as much cash from the F.O.S as you would think.
My daughter works in Goodwood house and part of her job involves helping set up the big events.
But on the plus side i do get free entry to the shows.

I won tickets from Audi after expressing a interest in buying the new RS3, best hide the A45 around the corner when i turn up. Taking the wife away for a romantic weekend, i know its being said in jest but the cost of the tickets is not exactly expensive. Im thinking 2 tanks of fuel plus 2 nights hotel so not too bad.

Yes just noticed, might take the motorhome instead and use a local campsite

Will be going this year, been every year since it started in 1993

Will be going down Thursday, setting up base camp on one of the on-site camping sites and doing Friday, Sat and Sunday.

Learned over the last few years to book the camping site / passes the day they are released !

My parents live near Goodwood and always have the option of staying there - but it's not the same as staying on-site.

Ro.

I'll be taking my youngest son on the Sunday. Hopefully to see Rossi and Stoner.
