Is there really any need for comments like this?

Putting aside that lycra is probably the least flattering clothing to wear...she's hardly the size of a house end, and even if she was, so what, it has nothing to do with what happened. Has it occurred to you that perhaps she took up cycling to get fit/lose some weight/tone up? Anyone bigger than pretty much a stick insect gets 'attacked' for being fat and lazy, and yet here is someone appearing to be trying to help herself, and still, childish, supposedly grown up men feel the need to criticise. Thankfully she probably doesn't sit reading pathetic comments about herself on SN.

I'm sure you are both the picture of perfection though, and therefore feel it's OK to go around making nasty comments about other people who don't meet your standards.

I don't doubt that.

However, and I'm not saying you are btw, most bullies probably think the same way about the 'jokes' they make, doesn't change the way it affects the person on the receiving end though.

VW's fault 100%. Seems they were paying more attention to getting past the videoing car and tight behind the lorry that they forgot to look forward.
