Ignore it, I do, I just take mine in every 10k miles or service, major then mini as I mostly do stop start driving.
Did you get the offer for £299 for major service and free mini next time?

I have a snap on Solus Pro which can reset all the service info from standard servicing to longlife and you can adjust the days mileage etc to what you want.

Cheers James. My friend has a Snap On thing (not sure on the model though), so he may be able to reset it for me.

There does not seem too be much difference between a major and a minor

And they have covered themselves with the "if necessary" line

And "clean the air filter", you mean take it out and tap in on the wall

The only difference you are guaranteed to get is

"Full vehicle inspection, including Road test" - which is short hand for a YTS (young thick and stupid) lad to rag it round the block

A major service is £329 and mini is £129 or there's abouts.
I have all parts fitted no clean out crap, and mini is just oil and inspection service.
All depends on dealership tbh as I know there is a lot of **** dealers out there (especially down south) going by the forums, but I havnt experienced it.
Maybe because I'm blunt in what I want.
