A simple example from all the variations ive built, inc 2.1's, 2.0, 2.5, 2.25 (83mm crank 2.0 block) 2.35 (ej22) 2.35 (destroked 2.5 - 2.0 crank) and 2.6 (2.5 block 83mm crank)
A 2.0 running 400bhp usually gives around 370 ftlbs
a 2.1 running 400bhp usually gives around 400 ftlbs
a 2.5 running 400bhp usually give saround 420ft ltbs
Its not an exact science as ther are many more variables but the extra stroke and cc spools the turbo faster, that increases torque.

Got an example of a 2.1 that Andy @ Wms built me for my 2004 Sti and the extra gains from the 2.1.
Wms 2.1x mamba gtx3076.62, full supporting mods, mapped by Martyn Jeffery @ Enginetuner.
441/410 @ 1.5 bar
466/430 @ 1.7 bar
501/460 @ 1.7 + 20% meth

You'd get on well with a mate of mine, He's got a Fordson Power Major and a Kubota F2000.

Didn't realise there was that many options!
Never heard of a 2.25 or 2.6

Hi there

Really depends,you can use EJ207/205 crank,just you will need 2mm longer rods and stoker pistons and you will have 2.1-2.2L or you can go route of the EJ255/EJ257 crank etc and you will end up with same... Or if you will go with 2.5L and destroker that to 2.35L,but you will need to use EJ207/205 crank,2mm longer rods etc

Friend of mine who run MDX321T on 2.0L will make around 480/420 on 20% meth,2.1L in our case has made 490/480
