I don't mnd the red mudflaps, with red overlays would tie in nicely and be a nice contrast.

Different and I actually feel strangely drawn to it, not sure I could live with it, but that said one of my favourite Subarus is a Yellow S202, think I would actually sell my left nut for one.

I bet there was a rather large moment of trepidation before you pulled the trigger.

Me likey.

Yeah....still not sure, but time will tell. Probably won`t have it for long, as have been unwell since ordering in sept, and have to change direction job wise

Any premium tyre in 245/40/18 will be fine, try and go for the stiffer side wall / higher load rating version though in whatever one you choose, seems to work better with AWD.

There are a few guys on the "Show us you hatch" thread. There's a cosworth and R205 owner both on there. Might be worth asking them as i'd like to know the answer as well..

Everything i've read about the R205 mentions the potenzas and the wheels on your look very similar to the R205

The potenzas, I thought were developed for Subaru for the previous generation Imprezas. The Dunlop SP600 were designed in conjunction with Subaru for the hatch (at least in the USA). They get mixed reviews though. Personally I like Michelin Super Sports on mine but as said above as long as you choose a premium tyre with extra load you won't go far wrong.

Cheers for that. I'm no expert and happy to be corrected. Your links are specifically R205 though. I thought the conversation was Hatches in general (or at least JDM). Litchfield imports have updated their site now so I can't link it for you but they used to recommend the use of Conti, Michelin Super sports or Dunlop SP600 on their hatches. Incidentally the SP600's were fitted to some GTR's as standard. The OP also mentioned better wet weather performance something the Bridgestones lack.

Thanks for the tyre advice; I currently run Goodyear *** eagle f2`s, with no complaints, but am considering Nokian z line`s, which have some of the highest ratings in Europe. Their winters are excellent.

Sorry Benji. Didn't mean to sound like an ****. Same stuff for the spec C though

http://www.evo.co.uk/subaru/impreza/...wrx-sti-spec-c

Did a little search for them a couple of months ago and struggled to find them. I think openeo had some though

I'm considering having some uniroyals on my GT2 19s later this year. Good wet grip rating which in this country is all year round lol
Plus for 19s they're not had on price at about 100 a corner.

They may wear a bit quicker but I only do 3k a year and that includes swapping to 17s at the end November till around April the following year. That means theyll late me a while 😄

I use Nokian WR's on my winter wheels and they are great but never tried their summer tyres.

Mark, no problem mate, no offence taken.

My white 20th Anniversary sti hatch lands from Japan in 2 weeks, can't wait now after reading this thread. Getting SVA'd ASAP then front mount, Owens turbo and the chevron fast road set up. Hoping for around 450 BHP. Going to be my daily for a bit.
