A lot of the inflated prices is down to the greedy traders. They are buying the cars at what we would consider a normal current price and then adding a few grand on top......The flip side is that then private sellers see these prices and hike up their selling price.

Quick update

I had a blobeye delivered by its former owner today. Exactly what i wanted in terms that it must be a blobeye ,stage 1 ish and in working order.

Didnt pay over the odds either .So far it needs an expansion tank or cap , bit of paint on the bumper and a N/S mirror. Everything else is more than acceptable for a 12 yr old car.

It's not just Subaru's, it is a common theme with a lot of performance cars.

Subaru's, Evo's, M3's, Skyline's etc..... they are all the same increasing in price

I suppose its easy to say its a rarity/ non chavved thing. I think the traders have a lot to answer for , along with the whole country prefers finance over cash which also pushes up the base price as private sellers just get fed up and p/x the cars into traders.

Why does it need an expansion tank or cap?
