Jeff I think you're getting a little over excited about this one mate, loving the scenarios though.

There's always going to be a percentage of bad people that come in with the good, it's just the law of averages, but I think the vast majority of those that come are decent hard working people, and god knows the UK could do with a few more of those, since a large proportion of the indigenous population appear to have given up any thought of ever going to work.

Some of us are 15+ years away from receiving our pensions, you're fortunate that right now there appears to be enough money to pay you out on what you've put into the system, I don't much fancy my chances of ever getting what I'm owed under the current state of affairs, then add into the fray the ever increasing retirement age, it'll probably be 90 before I get chance to claim it.

Simple fact is UK needs more people that want to work, otherwise the place is going to be full of un-employed graduates that don't want to sweep the streets, because it's beneath them, so stay on the dole.

Sorry to say it, but you sound a bit like someone from the 50's and 60's when my fathers generation were invited to come to the UK thinking they're going to steal our jobs and women, except now it's they're going to claim benefits and blow us all up.

Is there something I have not seen in the news about Croatia?

Talking to friends recently, the general consensus is that there's nothing here for them, not much in the way of work with high unemployment, more so outside the tourist season, no benefits unless you've already worked and even then it's based on previous earnings and length of employment. I have heard mention of them traveling through and being given food and drinks at the border by people living close by, but it would seem they're all going to pastures greener, Austria, Germany, Italy and the UK.

Even if they can get work, with the average monthly wage out here being between £3/400 and most struggling to survive on that, the streets are hardly paved with gold.

I think Jeff should be more concerned as the french have a habit of following EU dictates.

Well mine is a business, so not too sure how that's going to effect me. It's also still a building site and looks like a bomb has already hit it most of the time, so I doubt they'll be too keen on staying here, although you never know it may make some of them feel at home.

They weren't really questions though were they? They were just the same old rubbish statements you make over and over again (no matter how many times they get shot down as nonsense).

No, Martin, they were simple questions. I'll post them again, so even you can see:

1. Do you, or do you not, condone the biased reporting of the media which has hidden certain facts about the refugee crisis in order to create a wave of sympathy for the migrants. (refugees if you like).?

2. If, or when, it kicks off in any EC country and the person or persons responsible can be shown to have come in with the wave of refugees, will you still be as laid back about the whole thing?

It's pretty useless saying "it won't happen".......that's what the USA thought, pre 9/11. It's what we thought pre 7/7.

The FACT remains that ISIS promised 50,000 trained fighters in Europe this year, and suddenly, due to ultra biased media reporting, we are opening our doors, as are many other EC countries, despite being broke.

There can be no dispute about biased reporting, not when we have access to other state's TV......it is clear that some footage that would lead to a negative reaction to the migrants has been suppressed in the UK...why do you think that's OK?

1. Posted my evidence twice. Watch some other TV besides UK.

2.I say you are laid back, since you seem to think it's OK for the media to bias reporting to produce a wave of sympathy.

3. So what? ISIS has promised more attacks...should we just allow it? Your attitude stinks of "I'm alright, Jack..." as usual.

4. Reported in international media. Search for it if you don't believe me.

5. God only knows why.......because they are lefty do-gooders, just like the ones that dumped us into WW2??????

I despair, you haven't posted I single fact, just your opinion, and some amateur attempts at understanding 'my attitude'.

None of it is my opinion...it's what the INTERNATIONAL media are reporting.

Your "facts" seem based on what the Beeb says?

If either of us needs to despair, it's me, of you, you seem so gullible, establishment etc?
Did you have a very sheltered up-bringing?

Yada yada yada......I have posted facts. Go back and read my post about the burning of blankets/food at Calais, the refusal of food at Calais, the refusal of water/food in Budapest, the rock throwing and fighting with police in Budapest.....all facts, all reported by European TV...but NOT the Beeb.

Yet you deny they are covering stuff up.

You want me to waste my time looking for evidence that ISIS made that promise, yet it'll have been wiped off any UK news website, just as other stuff has been in the past.

Your gullibility and single minded establishment views won't allow you to see the facts I post.

Fair enough....live your blinkered life.

I hope your, and others' gullibility doesn't lead to anyone's death.

Well, I don't have a TV set. Haven't watched BBC news for a couple of years. I do, however, have a laptop and a broadband connection. The way I gather news is as follows: first, I have a quick look at the BBC website to see what's going on, and if anything attracts my attention, I go to the online UK newspapers (all of them, including Private Eye), then Al Jazeera, Huffington Post, and the German online press (I speak German), Russia Today (I speak Russian too), and the US outlets. I try and get as broad a range of opinions and spin as possible within time constraints. Having been following this influx of displaced people for a number of years (the situation in Calais has been going on since 2001 remember....) I have come to the conclusion that what you say about the British press covering things up is utter bollocks, along with your assertion that these people are economic migrants and terrorists. Hope that answers your "questions".

Sigh.

So the Beeb showed them burning blankets and food at Calais?
The Beeb showed them throwing rocks at Hungarian police?
The Beeb showed them refusing food in Budapest?
The Beeb showed them refusing food and water at a railway station in Hungary, chucking it on the tracks?
The Beeb posted the TRUE story of the little drowned boy?
Or none of the above? And if it's none of them, WHY???????????????

You really are gullible, you know that? And the sad thing is, you cannot see that you are being had.

Well they're accepting food and drinks from people at the Croatian border.

Apparently all the other borders are closed, Hungary, Serbia so now they are stuck in no mans land as they can't go forwards or backwards, somewhere in the region of 8000 people. They want to go to Germany and Austria but are stuck and winter is coming on that side and with it come temps of up to -40.

P.S; 32 degrees here today.

Lol,

It's pretty irrelevant whether the BBC did or didn't report the above (or any other part of the MSM for that matter).

I am sure they did to varying degrees they just don't bang on about it like you seem to - (I mainly watch and listen to the MSM and none of the above is a surprise.)

I don't get my information from Conspirito fvcktard websites that spout simple opinion, half truths and blatant lies.

In fact I would go further - they probably don't major on all those points because in the grand narrative of recent world/Middle East events they are irrelevant

After all what's the story here, large crowds of desperate people don't sit down every night and read poetry to each other

Large crowds of desperate preople sit around watching TV and perform light gardening duties

In fact all the activities you mention are totally consistent with large groups of desperate, hungry, tired, an frightened people.

Hurrican Katrina showed desperate people, seemingly abandoned by the state do desperate things - that behaviour extends not just to darkies from the Middle East, but all the way to Miners of England's North East

I would be surprised if none of the above took place - that would be a story

But in reality the story is that their homes and lives have bee totally obliterated, have you seen the reports from Syria, have you seen the total and utter devastation of towns and villages raised to the ground - the sheer barbarity inflicted by both sides on an undeserving population - families trying simply live, in their homes, trying to give their children an education

probably not, because the people who you seem to get your information from rarly venture from their computer monitors

But the BBC do, they have reporters right there in the war zone, reporting on this stuff, risking their lives

Not sitting in front of a keyboard, snipping at the sidelines spouting utter b0llox

I watch and listen to these pretty brave people reporting on this war zone and thank god they do, thank god they let the world know what is going on, the horror and barbarity people are living under

In this country We have a hissy fit if we have three days of snow - we complain and whine about the most inconsequential things

Fvck me You wonder why ANYONE would stay in Syria - the plumbing must be terrible

Well EXCUSE me for watching other European TV than the Beeb!!

If that's a conspiracy website, I'll be a migrant myself!

So the FACT that I have seen NONE of those things reported by the Beeb and ALL of them reported on french and German TV makes it a conspiracy?

I think not. I think YOU are seeing conspiracy where there is none.

And I reiterate: IF it's happening (and it patently IS), and the Beeb aren't reporting it, (which they patently AREN'T), two questions:

WHY are they choosing to hide it and what ought to be done about their biased reporting? Because there's no doubt that they ARE stirring up a wave of sympathy for what are, in most cases, economic migrants.

Some of whom are, by dint of the above, going to be invited to come here and then are going to need state support, when we can hardly afford to support our own.

And some of whom just MIGHT be ISIS????

Last time I checked, France's Le Figaro newspaper wasn't a mouthpiece for "conspirato-fvcktards":

The BBC have been reporting the trouble at border posts all week, including the things you say they're not reporting. I think you somehow manage to convince yourself of something, then only see what you want to see.
