But the Eastern bloc peoples already DO those jobs in the UK.

Most of the 800,000 so-called UK vacancies are either in London and the SE, require a specific set of skills...or both.

And guess what? Even living 10 to ahouse, the Eastern bloc peoples can't AFFORD to live in and round London/the SE.

It's all nonsense

WE can't afford them. The French can't, the Austrians can't, the Spanish Italians and Greeks certainly can't.

They are going to be nett takers and we should SEND THEM HOME!

According to immigration "experts", one can claim assylum where if you comit a crime here and it results in you fearing persecution by your country of origin on the grounds of bringing that country into disrepute as result of those criminal convictions.

The Home Office says any foreign nationals will be removed for criminality, but I'm sure the ECHR will say otherwise.

You would seriously hope any convictions would go against an asylum claim but it doesn't always seem work like that. When girlfriend was in the system a fellow claimant was scamming people's credit cards ( something she'd picked up in S.A, shoplifting and God knows what else, don't know what happened, probably had child and still here

So of the 100,000 migrants that have recently arrived on Croatian soil SIX yes 6 people have applied for asylum and 3 of those were refused.

Meanwhile I have just received a letter asking for proof of medical insurance and income to support myself out here, how could I be here renovating a property that I own outright without money.

The retards in the local immigration office don't even realise that the UK has a medical help treaty with Croatia and I have shown them my EU medical card (which is valid for 10yrs) several times already, most recently last year when I got a new one and they took a photo copy, so it's right there in my records with the date on it, also I wouldn't be entitled to any money from them even if I did try to claim as I have never worked here and I'm hardly likely to be trying to claim asylum considering I'm a British citizen.

Been in the system out here some considerable time, 5yrs of having to apply for permission to stay every year, then you're able to apply for a 5yr permit, which is what I have now, so 18 months later they send me this letter, you couldn't make it up.

Bureaucrats need to justify their existence, It's just a waste of my petrol and a day out of my life, as they already have all this information, several times over.

A bit like applying for a new UK passport, then?

It's a bit better here in France, over the last year we can actually pay the authorities for stuff with a card. Before that it was cheque or cash. Talk about backward.

So I went there today and all I can say is smoozing pays when I got the 5yrs permit I bought the lady I'd been dealing with for the previous 5yrs a bottle of cava and some Thorntons Chocolates as a thank you.

Today there's maybe 8 people in front of me so I was looking at a good hour or more wait, so I craftily positioned myself so she'd see me when the door opened, sure enough she saw me and called me in, few mins later and it's all good.

Still have to do it next year though, don't quite see the point of doing 5yrs if I still have to go there every year and provide docs, think I'll try and sort permanent residency out now instead of waiting until the 5yrs is up.

Bureaucracy, you got to love it.

You should try France...from the big companies, you have had good customer service if they haven't sworn at you.
