Moles Dad - Your words are soothing and have indeed calmed me down somewhat.
You are right, theyre the tw&ts so let 'em get on with it. I suppose you're right. One angry Senior_AP isn't going to make any real difference accept wind himself up. Thanks for your help.
One question, please explain the "Tupperware Club" thing. Sounds funny. Please.

We certainly are apkadb
Back to the point, they don't have this problem in France. When a car overtakes, they keep their indicators on until they go back into the inside lane. Before anyone points it out - I know France has less traffic and is a larger country. But they somehow know not to drive in the outside lane.
Unfortunately, not all countries are like that - Belgium is particularly similar to the UK I noticed on the way to the Nurburgring.
Perhaps we must educate people when they pass their tests in the first place so they do not fall into bad habits.

Opinions, feelings are all good. It is however, very simple.
# Keep left unless overtaking.
# Do not queue in outermost lane(s) unless you have no choice otherwise.
If you are making "good progress" on the outside lane and somebody wants to come past you, let them. Even if they are doing silly speeds you should just let them go on and go well ahead of you. As such will decrease your chances of being involved in a crash.
JUST KEEP LEFT.
Again, it really is that simple.
DO NOT QUEUE. If the person at the front of the queue is doing 50mph and is holding everybody up just flash him/her to move over so you can all move along. If you are queing in the outermost lane and the inner lanes are empty don't get upset if somebody who is law obiding and has an ounce of common sense uses that lane - the lane you are legally supposed to be in!! Simple, oh so bl00dy simple people.
