In Wales I used to have wax buildup in my ears. Nurse said they also offer a new system in Bridgend hospital (Princess of Wales) where they suck the wax out. Have been doing this every year for about 6 years now.
Not sure if a similar system is around Bristol?
Much safer than the syringe as well. Later syringes were electronically regulated down by me, around late 2000's
