take as much weight out of the car, even run with 1/4 tank of fuel, make sure intercooler is cold and not heat soaked
I disagree with the awd don't think traction be a problem id want high ish presure to get good hook up and be faster. (Never dragged tho just road experience)

I am thinking the lower the tyre pressure the more contact on road = less chance of wheel spin? I will find out on Sunday as weather is looking favourable.

But wheelspins wasted speed and the car has less resistance with higher presure. so i thought maby you launch right surely it's better then just flooring it with low tyres and hoping for the best. I'd use somthing like 35 front 32 rear with dccd set back because as u launch all the force will go to you back wheels. Thats why fwd cars can't launch even though the bulk of the weight is over the driven wheels
So In the real world you could launch a rear or mid engine car the best with a rear weight biast as you wouldn't have to drive the front wheels at all!
