Guy drives a yellow classic with a chav bodykit and claims its 700bhp while still using a 5 speed box and also drives/owns a £1million pound 900bhp McLaren P1 did you see the McLaren P1 or did he tell you that he had a 900bhp P1??

Just seems a bit odd!!

bit of a tall order for the inlet manifold, what you on mate ? it's a GTX35R running 2.2 bar with 100 shot of nitrous

No need for the insults, I wasn't calling you cuckoo, I was calling the guy who would have a classic Impreza and a McLaren P1, its like the complete opposite end of the scale in terms of a performance car. Maybe a Ferrari or Lambo, Bentley as a second car, but a classic Impreza seems a bit strange, and thats why I asked if you had seen his P1 and not just took his word.

Cool.......it's his bit of fun to race about he's got a race evo in Cyprus and brand new SLS bi turbo , he's minted. would a Ferrari Enzo not seem strange lol I think any of them cars are total opposite.

Would you have a classic impreza if you could buy or own a Mclaren P1, Ferrari Enzo etc???? I dont think I would, I love Impreza's but there cheap performance cars, but compared to exotic supercars it wouldn't give me the same buzz.

if I was rallying yes I would , I've had a few prestige cars and I've always kept the Subaru . each to there own I suppose

There's no way it's using a stock out of the factory 5 speed box with a 35R and nitrous. The car wouldn't make one pass without smashing the box to bits.

well that's what's in it mate , and he just like racing stuff he's got go karts an evo which is also about 700bhp iirc . I was surprised but he said he blew the 6 speed on the way to the track come back fitted the 5 speed and was back racing the next day .

I'm going by what he said and I've seen its got a 5 speed in it I've seen it run with a 5 and 6 speed in it . He did say he was gonna do a few quarter miles soon so when he does I'll let you know when it's running and you can see for yourself and ask him . what don't people believe that it's got a 5 speed in it or that it's running no more than what people think a 5 speed or 6 speed can handle?

People just don't believe it can be running 700bhp on a standard 5 speed box when plenty have destroyed theirs way below that. Maybe it's not running standard internals, or it's just not 700bhp. The 6 speed has a reputation for being stronger and it's already killed that, so it doesn't all add up.

it thought you was a *****.

so it's running a GTX35R @ 2.2 bar with 100 shot of nitrous what roughly would your clever self estimate a figure. Mines running 342 bhp and it makes mine look like it's standing still. and it's definitely a 5 speed .

I think I know what I'm talking about as my car has more power than your mates and that's without his 100 shot of NOS.

The engine bay looks like crap and the only thing that says its higher power is the turbo.

I have had a gt35 thru loads of states of tune and unless your spec is right there is always something that will **** the power up.

700bhp needs the right injectors as certain ones don't work with all fuels.

cooling of the fuel is important as that causes issues

Clutch is important as I run a Carbonetics triple plate clutch and although others may work they won't work for long!

I never got pats 11 seconds in my car but mine is a fully trimmed blobeye car and \I can't change gear fast enough but when I dual drive my car at sprints and my friends drive it who can pedal its in the top 5 cars.

bigdal your commitment to your friend is to be commended,but the reality of the situation is your mates car is:A) Not a 700bhp car and B) Its not using a standard 5 speed.Alot of members are telling you facts but you don't seem to want to believe it,I tell you what tell your mate to come on here and tell us his complete engine specs with a rolling road print out of the claimed 700bhp,then at least it might be more credible.I will wait and see before I post back on this thread.SJ.

you just said if it's high 10 it's 600 but yours has more power and never got past 11? . I'll see if I can get some vids of it . I find the full spec aswell I know the fuel system has 2 pumps one he turns on from the centre console. .

thats before it was imported and he started to have it tuned. i'll find out a bit more next week.

Nowt wrong with Golf TDI's, I was sad to see mine go a few months back.

It would have tested the WRX if the scoob was in a gear too high.
