Mine or not X57 has circa 300bhp and X444 has circa 700bhp

In damp conditions on their fastest runs X57 pulled a quicker 0-60 foot than X444 and matched 700bhp STI owner P1hardy's fastest 0-60 foot time beating his other, that he set in the dry. X57 also beat EMB's old Scoob to circa 100-200m.

X444 0-60 Foot 1.9 secs


X57 0-60 Foot 1.8 secs


So A.) The driver of X57 is some kind of super human or B.) The WRX is a considerable machine. C.) 700bhp Subarus are a pig to drive.

Tidgy do you want me to post on here a 100 links/vids/times to prove to you that the WRX crushes the 6 speed STI?

1.) Times taken from an EVO Magazine test of 335-440bhp tuner Subarus.



EVO Magazine tested the RCM Bugeye on the 1/4 at - 12.5 secs with 437bhp 390lbft
My low compression WRX with mud in the budget tyres and a widely SN criticised launch recorded - 12.6 sec on a cold damp track with just 333bhp 307lbft.

STI's with over 335bhp managing 13.7-12.5 seconds, I wonder what this 13.9 second 215bhp Bugeye WRX would record with 335bhp?

Decently launched STI racing this WR1 has 348bhp/401lb and runs a 13.9 - I was running 13.7's with 285bhp/273lb.
