OK, seeing I'm no legal eagle, I had to seek advice and do a crash course in order to gain the correct facts. What didn't help was wasting time dealing with troll threads where the time (my short lunch break) would have otherwise been spent researching the legality in order to address the legal complaints within this thread.
What is legal:
Android boxes
Kodi
"some" Apps on Kodi
In a nutshell there are legitimate and legal uses for all the above, indeed I've used Kodi on a nettop to stream content within my house from my NAS, it also has access to other services like Youtube and live DVB recording (if you have a DVB tuner).
What's NOT legal:
Streaming content from a source which the copyright holder hasn't given permission.
"Usually" that will be content that you'd expect to pay for which you are streaming for free or for a vastly reduced amount.
So, advice on what apps, or services to use within Kodi are not allowed on here which means the posts relating to this will have to be removed.
What is also not allowed on these forums is to troll because we're a bit slow off the mark in moderating the offending posts: Two wrongs don't make a right.
