There are many who disagree with your interpretation. Equally there are also many who agree and disagree with your interpretation of the Bible. The absurdity is the notion that your interpretation over anyone else is the right one and anything otherwise by anyone else is wrong; everybody is right and everybody is wrong.

This debate or argument over the Qur'an and Muslims is ridiculous.
What has happened to our once Great Britain, France too.
The more our governments open our borders, the problem will only increase.
We didn't have these problems 35-40 years ago, in France is was a case spot the foreign national on the streets if you can, the same as Britain, now half the national football teams are of multi culture origin. Back then 99% of the population would never of heard of the Quran and everything associated with it, it is now forced upon us daily in the news/media/on the streets, Muslims, halal, burkas, mosques etc etc.
Our once great countries are going down and fast.
We don't want it or to be associated with it and the problems is brings, this is after all Great Britain and not a third world muslamic country.
You want our citizenship our housing, our benefits, our jobs, food, tv, our whole way of life but you don't want and you won't accept our rules, if you don't like us eating bacon or being the best of British the pi55 off.
As stated earlier this tactic " multiculturalism" causes divide and conquer........it's doing its job and you don't even know it.
All these problems and tragic events happening the blame lies solely with our own governments. Close the borders once and for all, or is it too little to late???
Most may disagree with what I've just stated, believe me it's the truth, open your eyes.

what problems exactly
we certainly had racial tensions in the 60's 70's
we had the "river of blood speech" in the late 60's
we had emergency immigration from the Ugandan Asian fleeing the murderous Idi Amin
I agree the brutality seems more extreme theses days
I see the whole thing a bit like the weather system - the difference in air pressure causes the air to move from high to low pressure - the greater the difference, the faster harder the flow
so simply change the above words "weather" to socio/economic and "pressure" to poverty/safety
and you get the same results - and the greater the difference/wealth gap the more will come, with greater force to find better safer lives
the solution is to make countries richer and safer - equalise the pressure

Unfortunately the toothpaste can't be pushed back into the tube. Muslims are here and in their hordes, many of them British born but not British in any other way.
I remember the local disgust when the Regent's Park Mosque was built in the 70s, but despite this and the dark forebodings still more were built. We are the victims of our own blind stupidity. Try holding a Christian ceremony openly in Saudi and see where it gets you, much less build a church. More chance of opening a whisky distillery there.
I also remember being in another Arab country when the aircraft were crashed into the Twin Towers. The burning of the American flag was probably inevitable but the wild celebrations in the street were sickening to see.
They hate us with a passion, and letting more of them into this country is utter madness. And as we have seen, attaching to a refugee crowd is a wonderfully convenient way for ISIS to insert their foul terrorists into our midst.

In answer to your question, no I haven't. Whether I've read the Qur'ran or not is beside the point, I don't need to read any religious text to know and understand what these terrorist are doing is wrong.

The problems of not knowing what Muslim wants to gun you down or moan to you about bacon.
Enoch Powells words are now running true depicting Britain as swamped with uncontrollable waves of immigrants throwing the country into impending doom.
The only word missing in his speech is Islamic.
The heyday of multiculturalism was in the early 1980s when Britain had followed in the footsteps of Canada and Australia, countries that had first initiated policies of multiculturalism in the 1970s. An approach typically followed by the rest of Europe.

this sums it all up very well for me
son to mother ? mum why do we have wars
mothers reply , because we are all ruled by a elite band of psychopaths who own the banks that control the goverments and media. they fund both sides of the war for profit and they manufacture the consent of the masses through the propaganda of the media

Meaning what exactly? It's been my experience that the hand wringers and appeasers get us nowhere, never have and never will. There's been another Muslim terrorist atrocity and one bright SNet solution is to prevent a recurrence by curing poverty, thus making countries richer and safer. There we are then, that shouldn't take too long and why did no one else think of that?
Personally I don't care whether the problem is caused by poverty, starvation or religious hatred. What I do care about is that we take strong action against these people because be assured they will be visiting us soon. We must not be diverted by the whiners who truly believe they enjoy a degree of insight completely denied to the rest of us.

Gandhi knew better. Martin Luther King knew better. Jesus knew best. If you study the enemy you'll know that it will be the principles of the Sermon on the Mount that will weaken them. I pray that the articulate and the influential, the charismatic and the far-sighted will examine their consciences and discover the impeccable truth of love. Soften your hearts, gentlemen.

The idea that segregation, isolation, apartheid and intolerance will somehow keep us safe. It won't. What will keep us is the practical application of the teachings of Jesus of Nazereth. Love our neighbours, don't hate them. Hatred swells the ranks of our enemy. Islamic State love death more than they love life, they are the epitome of evil and this makes them incredibly powerful. Their ideology is deeply seductive to the man and women who's shunned and harassed and disenfranchised by the west.

That's pious drivel and any thinking person will identify it is as such. I truly hope that you are never confronted by armed aggressors intent on killing you, but just in case you are be assured that 'loving them' or quoting the sermon on the mount will not be an antidote to your certain death.
And you know what happened to those three venerable exponents of peace and love that you quoted. Must all such shining examples end up dead to make their point?

I do acknowledge that this enemy needs to be extirpated, but as I have stated previously, I don't know how that rooting out will look. The best I can do is commit it to God and take consolation in the knowledge that good will conquer evil.

I pray I'd have the courage to turn the other cheek and die like the Lord; still loving and forgiving my persecutors - aware that they simply don't know any better.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

The natural progression of this kind of thinking is apartheid. Apartheid plays in to the hands of Islamic State. You and others must grasp this!
