Feel sorry for the victims and their families, no one deserves to go out on a night out and end up in the middle of something like this.
This is unfortunately one of the many consequences of medaling in other countries affairs, we and our allies appear to have learned nothing from Iraq.
They are just giving the west a taste of it's own medicine, and what a bitter pill it is too, innocent people all around the world dying because of corporate greed, then the revenge starts, it's Isreal and Palestine all over again only now it's Europe against the Middle East and Africa etc.
It's an un-winable war and now they're bringing it to us, it was only ever a matter of time before something else happened and unfortunately it's only a matter of time before the next attack from these lunatics.
Very sad times indeed, I really don't know what this world is coming to, but I'm sure no good will come from any of this.

A point that just came to mind.
Maybe if the French had done a little more about letting all the immigrants have a free reign to transit through to Calais instead of all the political posturing, these people wouldn't have the weapons or network to do this sort of thing, all well and good closing the borders now, but as this shows it's all a bit too little too late.
As usual the innocent suffer while our political elite pontificate and posture for position.

The murdering scum behind last night's attacks were almost certainly French-born, second or third generation immigrants living in the country legally, not the types you'd see queuing up outside ferry terminals or laybys around Calais every night waiting for their turn to break into a lorry.

You might want to do a slightly better job of making it then. Calais is a full 600 miles from France's eastern and southern borders, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't find the connection between what goes on there and the infiltration of weapons or terrorist agitators at opposite ends of the country particularly obvious.

Its a disgrace what has happened but this is getting like the 1940's. SS reign with all the kass exodus and not knowing if there is real IS supporters in the asylum camps. It will trigger lots of attacks on inocent muslems and they always said world war 3 would start in the middle east.

This has nothing to do with the migrant and refugee crisis, the assailants were home grown French speaking nationals who, apparently, were known to the French authorities. Is it a surprise to see the typical knee jerk reactions, no not really.

Agreed. The majority of asylum seekers see militant Islam as the enemy.

The objective has been achieved, kill a few and alarm the masses.
The thing with terrorism is that it can never be defeated with common law - it demands a smarter approach than that - terrorists (arguably not as extreme as these) were not defeated in NI in over 40 years.
Thoughts are with the families of those who didn't return from a night our last night.

So 600 miles of un-hindered progress across France to make it to Calais, like I said, god only knows who else came in and what weapons they bought with them under the guise of being a refugee.
These people didn't walk into a gun shop in france and buy weapons, ammo and explosives, they've received them via a terrorist network of some description, people who no doubt came into the country via some sort of clandestine means carrying explosives and arms.
So back to my original point, if they'd have done more in the past few years, then maybe these home growns wouldn't have they weapons they do now, and yet again god only knows what other weapons have been smuggled in a similar manner.

You may alsowant to do a slightly better job of reading what I wrote, as you're actually helping to make my point.

In other words, your theory that smuggling weapons or explosives goes hand in hand with illegal immigrants sneaking into the country is so full of holes it hardly bears thinking about at all.

IS confirmed they were behind the attacks. I seem to recall they had mentioned about flooding europe with their people, and that probably did happen, with them mixed in with the other syrian refugees, and they just bided their time.
This isn't going to endear the refugees to anyone, as people *will* think "Are there any more lurking within the refugees?". Who is going to want to take a chance on letting additional refugees into their country? Isn't there meant to be some charter flight of Syrian refugees due into Glasgow next week? I wonder if that'll happen now?
Coincidence that it's mentioned this Jihadi John character who is / was IS? Perhaps some kind of retaliatory attack for that?

Errrrrrrrr, when I asked about what should happen to our media for slanting the news so that the majority of the UK WANTED more immigrants disguised as refugees, I was shouted down. Told it wasn't happening, wouldn't happen as I said. I was right.
What now?
How ironic to see that this is the first item on the news. And the third? OUR first planeload of refugee immigrants arrives today! You couldn't make it up.
I see the morally bankrupt left are about again, shouting down our outrage, eh Martin?
