Picked the car up from Paul at xtreme scoobies this morning and I'm still grinning.

mattybr5@mb developments supplied me with a 6 speed non dccd sti box, driveshafts, rear diff, 6 speed flywheel.

Paul supplied new exedy 6 speed clutch, exchanged flywheel to a skimmed 6 speed item, new neutral position switch and found me an sti gear surround as well as fitting everything and refilling with oil.

I sourced sti group n dogbone, engine and gear box mounts from Japan.

Paul did me a massive favour getting the car ready for me in time for my track day at brands hatch on Monday.

The power feels more connected to the car with the stiffer mounts.

And the car flys through gears, definitley feels likes it is accelerating quicker then before and after half an hour through the lanes I'm used to the box and rev matching up and down shifts. Also the buddy club gear **** fits with the lift up reverse.

Ive painted the silver interior parts black and got the vents with the card tray, fitted an android head unit so I can listen to Spotify and I can also record my lap times using track addict on Monday. I got a Steel mate tpms as well so I can keep an eye on tyre pressure and temps on Monday.

Here's a couple of interior pics and a few from the outside.

Loads better thanks Matty, gave it a good bit of abuse yesterday and it is incredible compared to the old box just feels like it's brand new.

So after getting the 6 speed in I took my rear seats out and went to brands hatch yesterday, which was my first proper track day. The Impreza was strong and I was really surprised by the cars I was overtaking, I had to have a few cooling off laps due to brake fade and oil temps. After my 3rd session I was checking the car over and noticed I had cracked a disc so my day finished early.

Really pleased with how the car performed and brakes are now next on the list..

Here's a few pics

Ah awesome, thank you.

I thought there would have been more bmw's but guess they all get drifted now. Where you in the e46 with red wheels?

I had to slow down for a few laps half way through a session as I was getting brake fade, so definitley needed to look at upgrades either way.

The m3 looked quick around track, would have been good to have a bit of friendly competition. My mate Matt was in your group in his blue mini though.

Yeah the m3 stuck to the track much better even when it rained a bit than i expected! He did leave traction control on but it was his first track day and didn't want to spin out! Don't remember the blue mini, there was a John cooper works supercharged mini that was chasing my mate in his m3 around though!
