Joking of corse!

Defiantly handy for idiots who tailgate tho
IIRC the anti lag on there is very mild , I had Andy at ESL map in the Motorsports pack in Cambridge and basically I said to just have it for pops and bangs so didn't need it to be too mental lol. But apparently it can be turned up in ESL? Mapping side of things Is beyond me tho

The headers on there are Subaru twin scroll ones I think - Which I was told are pretty good?

How is the car btw?
I need to get another one soon!

Hello mate,how's it going?
Yes the ALS can be adjusted in the software,I think it's just the standard ALS Andy puts on em all? I will have a look at the map from my old ra that had the same.
The oem headers are supposed to be very good for the twin scroll but the ones on mine don't look like the oem ones,no heat shield and look different? Might be wrong tho?? They look like eBay ones with the flex joints on,this is why I wanted to change,I will look into it properly.

The car is awesome pal, proper love it,very quick car and drives really nice
Look forward to seeing your next one.

Yer mate all good

Glad its still going strong!

The headers were wrapped originally, and I had the wrap taken off after the rocker gaskets were changed as they were saturated in oil.
I think previously the heat shield was removed to wrap them, but cant be 100% sure.

Nice set of GT spec headers wrapped will be awesome! Pricey tho.

Just about to get on the property ladder so wont have another one for a few months yet, but if I do its gonna be a Cashmere yellow V6!

last post deleted.
On doing some more digging around, came across these which look the same and are oem. Cheers for clearing that up Alex
Nearly bought a set off Mattyb so would have been wasting my money swapping like for like, lots of people rate the oem ones as some of the best twin scroll headers.

Pic is of oem without shields on.

No worries dude - Yer that looks like them.

Might be worth re wrapping them tho? I think that also helps spool - or so I was told.
I only removed the wrap after the header gaskets were done as oil had spilled on them.

Yes think it will be money well spent wrapping em.
Cars got pretty much all the upgrades it needs, can't think of anything else I could spend money on performance wise,I have a 3port bcs and an ABS delete kit to fit,but you pretty much got all the best mods sorted,
400bhp(ish) in a daily drive classic is perfect tbh
Tempted to get it on the rollers this year, just really curious to know what it's putting out(defiantly no doubting it's a rapid car) So I'm torn between wether I need/want to really
So think I might spend my cash on the few car park dings and maybe even treat it to a full respray.

Yer the re spray was on my to do list, but never got round to it, mostly due to simply not having the spare cash to do it.
After that it will be mint. I think the more OEM it looks the better, flat type rear spoiler, standard un painted side skirts all make it looks great, and more sleeper'ish
Are you gonna fit the Morettes?

Agree with you there, prefer the standard clean look
I won't be doing any mods to the cars looks, great as it is tbh won't be fitting the morrettes, might put them up for sale with a few other bits I've collected over the years to fund the respray.
Do like the look of the carbon bonnet vent on there so that will be staying, the side skirts will be staying oem, thinking about putting the low level spoiler on and might think about getting a front splitter in black but that's about it.

Really??I believe the turbo was around two years old and had done a few track days?

No idea mate, fitted around the end of 2014/2015. 200 mile old when fitted I think.

According to Owens nothing much wrong with it besides the damage to the turbine, which almost wrote off the housing as well. That caused the exhaust side seal to leak. Noisy and doesn't always spool to boost very well Morale of the story is, dont bung a hole with an obselete lamda!! I would never knowingly do that, the fellas at OD thought it was kinda funny.

Will have a new lease of life soon with everything sorted at owens, they swap out the plastic bearing cages and the heat shield. Ceramic coated as well now.

Wasnt anything to do with how it was used in my opinion

In hindsight it wasn't a clever idea by the previous owner to do that, it was a massive oversight but he didn't do it purposely to then sell the car thinking it was gonna fail, annoying for sure though but look at it positively you're gonna have a better turbo now that OD have had their hands on it!

Yea he thought it was blowing from an exhaust join not the lamda. Cannot wait to pick it up, they are busy after christmas. Then the zircotec is done at zircotec so that takes time
