Pretty good I thought. The advent of more powerful & reliable motors, electronics & batteries combined with hi-tech materials can make some awesome machines.
Carbide is a case in point. It was like Hypnodisc on steroids. The damage it caused was akin to an IED going off!! Smashed some of the other robots to pieces.

I`m sure he`ll love it. I entered robots in series two and three.

My son was involved with Excalibur and still talks about it now. Good to see a couple of old teams in the new series, like Behemoth and Killerhertz. Sad to see Razer get beaten in the first episode as it was such a well built machine and just looked so cool. When you see them in the flesh you can see how much bigger they are than look on the telly.

Robot Wars has been axed by the BBC for a second time.
The show featuring duelling robots was rebooted on BBC Two in 2016 and ran for three series.
Presented by Dara Ó Briain and Angela Scanlon since its return, it is to be scrapped to "make room for new shows", the BBC said.
