Interestingly, the first of our F-35's landed in the UK today (yesterday?), but is only visiting to do some airshows over the summer before heading back to the US for continued development program. Full delivery of the first aircraft won't be for a couple of years yet! The carriers are due to be completed next year, so will be unusable until they get enough aircraft in 2020 - we already retired the Harrier aircraft which could have been used
Ah right. Very large chance that the F-35 you mention has been flown over by someone my wife knows, funnily enough.

Glad I got this delivered on Monday before the Germans decide not to sell us anything anymore.

I know it is shameless, but is a lot of fun for a 3 cylinder 1.5L

Went to Northampton yesterday and passed the same car on the A34, and today went to Shaftesbury, about 5 miles from me, and saw a different same one Iif that makes sense) coming the other way.

Must be common and muck, will have to swap it for an STi as dont see many of them these days

No, I was commenting on the prominent one in the pic tbh.

However, Landy is a good car.

I want to buy another good and reliable Audi before Germamy stops business with our UK. I always ask my son to get me an R8 whenever he goes to Germany with his work, but you know what these young lads are like. He forgets every time!

R8 was my wife's first choice, mine was the GTR, but you cant please all the people, and didn't want the tax, so had to be a hybrid, this or the the Porsche Panamera SE Hybrid, this looked like more fun but mat regret it when shopping.

Unfortunately I did not qualify to vote as out of country.
But I am one of the few who did vote in the 1975 referendum - I was out then also.
I have worked in Norway and Holland without any problems during my working life, both pre and post entry into the common market and many other countries outside of the EU.

I can see no reason why British expertise cannot continue to work in the EU once a formal separation has completed -OK it may require a work permit .

Other reasons to leave - On many occasions it was made clear by Europeans that we British did not fit in with the European way . I never forgot that. Obviously sovereignty is high on the list . Open borders . Risk of EU army . Possible inclusion of Turkey into EU.

I can see no reason why the core values that Brexit campaigned for should not be met.

A big protest in London mr Geldolf has crawled back out from under his rock.
Was Listening to an interview in the radio, and one of the protesters first words out of his mouth, its a protest against xenophobia,if only I was given £5.00 for every time I've heard this word said in the last few months.

Then go on to say a lot of young people wanted to stay in Europe.
Well all you young people who wanted to stay in,but only 30% range of you went out and actually voted, its own damn fault you didn't get off your ***.

I wish someone would hand out free copies of "A Dummies Guide to Democracy" to all those clowns, and whilst at it they could explain to many of them the differences between 'the EU' and 'Europe'.

Ironic as well that they're all saying they're standing side-by-side with Europeans, yet all over Europe Europeans want referendums themselves to free their countries from the EU!

Working in and around France/Belgium the last three days, nobody has treated me with hostility,in fact some people have actually looked up to us.But apart from that, they treat me the same as they did before the referendum, and I treat them the same as I did before, still have a little chat and make a joke.
Well this morning I got home for the weekend.I tell you something it's a right effort driving in this country.get off the train Folkestone, junctions closed, motorway closed, dartford closed,m1/m6 entry closed,A13 closed, lanes closures, still got the speeds signs 60,50,40.I just wanted to turn around and go back..😂

Another reason for staying in the EU. You could go back with free movement and even settle there, if you preferred.

Kind of get what you're saying, but I talk a lot of people who were born before the EU days, and say you could still do these things before the EU,you just had to do a bit form filling if wanted live work.
My place abroad I've checked and can still own, buy, rent,I looked up the rules for this country based on the rules for country outside the EU.you just show a passport, you can stay for up to 90 days, any longer get a visa.

Is it fair to say that the bbc is where most people get there news in this country.

How many people believe we actually have a real democracy ?

I think its fair to say that nobody trusts our politicians.so if we agree that what they say cant be trusted how can we make any real decisions .based on lies ?

And that's pretty much it in a nutshell. People are so used to being told some quantity of lies (at times it might be a small amount, at other times it might be a somewhat larger amount), that they find it harder and harder to tell when someone's telling them a really, really big lie. Or in a lot of cases, they've got to the point where they've heard so many they don't even care any more, and they'll go along with it and pretend they've believed every word, just to see what happens. That's not a very big deal if all you're doing is choosing a washing powder, it obviously becomes potentially quite a bit more costly if you're shelling out a few grand on a used car or a house that "just needs a bit of work", but when it comes to deciding the future of the country you can end up with some seriously big problems. A bit like what we have now.

My prediction is that scotland will have another referendum for independance and because of the fear of the unknown and the most probably negative impact in the short term (for sure) . They will vote to seperate to stay in the eu.

Ive not thought much about how that will pan out but i imagine scotland will recieve its fair share of imagrants then . I dont know how they will get past england . Start shipping them from calais into edinburgh . Idk.

If scotland was in the eu and england wasnt would we be allowed to trade with england on our terms ?

Sure. To combat and win this darkness of ignorance and mistrust, people need to enhance the reading base, and gather more information than just reading, listening and believing that just one media source informs.

One can argue that even that enhanced reading base cannot be fully trusted, as the system is so flawed. In that case, you have to go for what's more trustworthy in comparison, but that's after gathering ample info.

I think falling like an idiot for one propaganda point such as immigration goes to show how much people actually know about what's being sold.

I had this discussion the other day with my sister in-law. She was also saying what you're saying and admitting that not many people try to get clued up with information, that regular Joe Blogg's reading base is very, very limited, and basically, they just fall for what's being sexed up/glamourised by the politicians and media; for a mega sale.

In a few words, people should try to get the facts as right as possible, if not totally right.
