EU Referendum

I agree with Neil re his comment regarding
"to say being in the EU is of no benefit is going completely the other way"
and your stated position above is now a rational one
however, it would be interesting to hear what advantages being in the EU gives the UK, in your opinion
this is not a trick question btw (unless you actually don't believe your comment above)

And that statement show just how little you understand about the EU and how it works.
Most in voters admit there is room for improvement (which is why Cameron has negotiated for reform, funnily enough), but the benefits are huge.
Your statement show just how little you have actually looked, and probably what really drives you.

Oh and your daft claim that today's taxpayers are paying for today's pensioners is another fallacy. Tomorrow's taxpayers are paying for today's pensioners. Hint... £1.6 trillion borrowed!!!
Looking forward to seeing which way you all vote! I'll have a drink to your once great nation on the day by way of old time's sake

The fact of the matter is it's a lot harder to get into Australia than it is the UK. That's a fact not a sound bite. Stop lying about **** you know absolutely nothing about.

It can't be that hard
Whilst you're gracing us with your presence...
I assumed you would be apologising to everyone you called an idiot (and other choice words), when they said that there would be a referendum after the election. You of course knew better!

Just stop peddling your lies. You say you're not especially pro EU and then make posts calling people thick for wanting to leave. You're a hypocrite and frankly not a very nice person!
Oh and save the smart alec reply as I'm off, have better things to do than engage your sort these days thankfully!

It isn't that hard, but it is harder than getting into the UK. That is the point being made which, as you always do, you choose to ignore and deflect.

Martin,
I have learned a lot of things in the last 6 months. One is not to put up with people you think are utter ****s.
I think you're a **** ergo I'm not getting back into a 'debate' with you
Hope that is clear enough for you! You can post and think what you like about that... I genuinely don't give a ****!
Now you can get back to your little crusade of half truths!
Adios!

More desperation from the ECB (European Central Bank) today - interest rate cut AND expansion of QE to €80billion per month! Think the consequential bump in gold prices tells you everything you need to know about that move!
The euro is just utterly screwed, I can't believe anyone would still want to be part of this mess!

It seems you've actually learnt very little by your recent foray back on here.
Anyway go away then, it would appear to work for you, and it certainly works for me

Seriously. he will not allow me to have my views and insults me...bigotry. How the HELL does he presume to know what drives me?
You, on the other hand, are just an out-of-work actor from the fast show.

On the Alcazar scale of 'bigotry', where does calling people 'Miggers' sit?

The much vaunted (by the outers) Norway and Switzerland model, is a curious one because not only do they have to pay into the EU coffers, but they also have to allow freedom of movement. The 2 things that seem to most irk some many people.
I wonder what 'price' we would have to pay to cut a trade deal with the EU?

The problem is that the consequences of leaving the EU are just unknown. My sense is that whether this would be good, bad or neutral will be decided at the margins. Whether company A is slightly more or less likely to trade with company B. Whether a % of inward investment ends up somewhere else. What would be the terms of a trade deal between the EU and UK etc. The economic argument is just so hard to really have any kind of certainty about. Therefore it falls back into a discussion on what people don't like.

If people don't take risks then we would of never crawled out of our caves, or sailed around the world when the doom sayers said we they would fall off the edge of the earth. Look what wonderous discoveries they made. Life is a risk, take a little one. Hell if you dont like the result you could always try and move to Australia

Sticks and stones, Martin. If you are going to get all het up about a made up name, there's little hope for you, you're worse than most lasses.
Ooooh, oooh, he used a rude word......listen to yourself.
Oh, and look up bigotry.

Wikipedia FFS?????
Try Cambridge dictionary, mastermind:
a person who has strong, unreasonable beliefs and who does not like other people who have different beliefs or a different way of life:
Sounds more like you lot, LOL.
I don't dislike, or insult you lot, but you can't stop yourselves from trying to do the same to me.
I have nothing against any of you, after all, you cannot help being wrong...and bigotted too.
Martin, on the other hand...well I have a feeling that if I said white, martin would say "No, no, no it isn't, it's black!".
