Can anyone explain why the Pound is losing value? And what it means for us?

At least it is a clear vote, I honestly could not stand the conspiracy theorists if it was any closer

it means everyhting we import will be more expensive

And potentially help exporters

The problem is

The last time the pound dropped, after 2008, we found out that our great exporting powerhouse had the engine of a trabant

OMG we did it!!!!!

Its been a hard struggle, a lot of abuse has been taken, but WE GOT THERE! I was literally in tears earlier as I was driving home from the local count.

A truly momentous time in history for the UK.

To all the deniers and haters, all I ask is that you re-examine your beliefs, maybe you weren't quite so right after all.

The future may have challenges, hard ones, but just because there are challenges doesn't meant this path isn't right. The greatest things are often achieved through great effort.

FREEDOM!!!!

Because the markets don't have faith in the UK and all the foreign investors are pulling out! The stock market will also take a big hit today!

What it means for you, is your summer holiday just got a lot more expensive! Unless you're planning to go to Blackpool!

Yep to restore faith in the markets and investors we will need to cut wages, reduce working rights and conditions

Cut public spending on the nhs etc

All needed to restore faith and stop the flight of capital and investment out of the country

Ignore the markets for day to day knee-jerk reactions. Let everything settle down.

Still , we won't have a migrant trying to half inch the remnants

And that's all that matters to most people apparently

The UKIP MP that knobody can remember his name, was just on warning the leavers not to expect any change in EU migration! Probably hinting at a Norwegian solution with EEA membership!

The result is very close, so there isn't a truely clear mandate to leave! I suspect you will get a half hearted leave solution that protects the economy over sorting the immigration problem!

To those who voted leave, congratulations, you got what you wanted! I truely hope what you wanted turns out to be the right choice for you and your childrens future!

And congratulations to you, sir, on the way you've conducted yourself throughout this 'campaign'. You're a gentleman.

No matter what you personally think of Nigel Farage

He will be recorded in history as the man who spearheaded a change in UK. Politics
