House prices. What do you guys think? Honestly. Big drop or a little drop? Little drop and then rise back to normal within a couple of months once things have settled?

It was lost on one single thing.
Immigration.
Whether you like it or think its correct, people that voted out are sick of it.
The government failed to address it and the people have spoken.
A case of the rich ignoring the issue as it's not effecting me!

There was a lot of insults and personal comments about the leave proponents. This has to stop. The UK has voted to leave, we have to get on and ensure the smoothest transition

I suggest a purge day, like the film at your local hand car wash.

There are a Number of European Elections taking place this year and next. It will be interesting to see if the leaving of the UK will steer and influence these elections

What do you guys think will happen on immigration then?

We're in for a period of 2 or 3 years of complete uncertainty - and I don't particularly like the idea of that.
Sterling already dropping, things in general are going to be more expensive for us.

Jacob Rees-Mogg for PM .
I know he is another Etonian but he was leading the exit camp in a manner becoming a future Prime Minister.

Thank you! As have you

Sadly it was to no avail! My posts are often maybe too long and I fear many just couldn't be bothered to read them

The vote was very close as predicted and with 70% turnout, that means 30% just couldn't be bothered about their future, which is a very sad state of affairs! This is democracy and the Remainers have to accept that we lost, but at the same time the Leavers cannot gloat over a very narrow margin and they also have to accept that 48% didn't want to leave and their opinions should be respected.

I agree the vote was won on Immigration, which is truly sad as this is not really a problem directly created by the EU. British immigration to Europe has always offset EU immigration to the UK. The remain campaign overwhelmingly failed to address these issues and sadly only concentrated on pushing the fear of the economy!

I fully accept the problems associated with mass migration, but they genuinely are UK problems - Germany has seen much greater migration in the last year and taken the required measures to deal with it without unduly straining the public services. While I believe the majority of peoples immigration problems are genuine, there is sadly a disgusting and not insignificant minority who were racially motivated and that I cannot accept!

There also appears to be a significant number of people who voted leave as a protest against the governing classes, which is truly upsetting on such an important decision with far reaching consequences both in the UK, across Europe and the rest of the world! There are better ways to protest!

We now have to move forward and hope for the best in the great unknown that is coming!

On a personal note, as a Brit living in the EU, I also now have to consider my future and the direct consequence this decision will have on my life. If the UK does not at least remain in the EEA and accept freedom of movement, then I may have little choice but to take German nationality which will quite likely also mean having to giving up my British passport! Many millions of other Brits across the union will also be facing this sad dilemma

The thing with house prices is its somewhat monopoly money, the only people who will be hurt by a price drop are those who bought in the last few years,

Those whos houses have risen and fallen in price doesnt really matter as any profit would of been spent on the mark up on the next house.

People banking on property going up and up was what helped cause the last crash with the banks lending more than what something was worth.
