Can I increase injector sizes whilst retaining the stock ECU?

Andy's will have an uprated bottom end anyway won't it being an RA?
Hence the higher rev limit than our humble UK chariots
1.7 bar!!! Once my fuel pump is on I may well crank up the EVC3 for a bit of a play the most I've had the ***** to go up to so far is 1.5 bar, and that's also what my boost gauge goes up to (2.0bar one on order!). Just listen out for a load BANG coming roughly from the Well Lane area around 10am on monday
Rebuild for Mr. Wild!!
How did you convert to straight entry for the turbo, was it a b'stard to do? (credit card groans in background)
Cheers

rich andys bottom end is not uprated at all.
the old wrxs (non stis) were exactly the same mechanically as the UK cars, only the turbo and ecus were different.
The old cars all had a redline of 7000rpm, except the stis which might have hit 7500, trying to remember pats car!
Not sure if the early stis benefitted from forged pistons which is what enabled the higher rpm limit.
Either way andys isnt an sti, so wouldnt fit into this category anyway.

The front entry was cheap as hell but time consuming.
Also involved a few compromises such as power steering removal (not as bad as it sounds) Eventually I'll refit the pump somewhere prior to selling the car, I'm holding off just now as I'm pondering over a FMIC and reversed inlet like David W's
PS I'd have reservations over running 1.7 bar on the rollers on a TMIC

dave,
early uks had the same turbos, TD05s, but when wrxs switched to VF series turbos (version 3 I think) UK cars switched to TD04s.
just because the bottoms ends are the same doesnt mean you can get away with 1.7 bar! andy may have been lucky so far, or his internals may be much higher specced. I would certainly not want to be running 1.7 bar.

Quick question:
Where is the MAP sensor?
Someone said to me once that the standard Map sensor can't handle it if you run more than 1.5 bar of boost. Is this right?
Cheers
