It does get worse, much worse, but it is an old story and not shared even though there are many pictures to back up the total cowboy experience we had. Unfortunately when it came to light it was far too late. At the time new to Subaru and this person was recommended. However, the lesson has been learnt!!
Re-using gaskets or not bothering is his speciality. That and silicon. He likes silicon. In fact if he could build a car completely out of exhaust paste and silicon sealant then it really would be a first!!!!

If you don't mind sending me a private message I'd like to have a chat and add your story to what is turning into a very interesting episode of' "This is your life...." 😂😂

Presumably that's because you have one or more of the following:

A heart
Compassion
Decency
Integrity
Honesty

The man has none of the above. He is a dirty, lying, thieving rip-off merchant that doesn't belong anywhere near cars. Notice he quite happily states in his response he has been trading for 5 years? 5!!! That's funny because he has never filed a tax return or any accounts. He didn't register "Rotherham Scoobies" until 14th December 2014 when he realised he'd screwed up with my car because I wasn't going to sit back and do nothing. And yet "Rotherham Scoobies" status is set to "propose to strike off" by companies house for failing to return any accounts. I would doubt the tax man knows about the last 5 years or the £4800 he was paid by the owner of that car... Or any of the other customers....

i dont doubt you feel wronged but if the idiots dont believe it just let them get on with it .

they obviously cant afford to run the cars properly or they wouldnt entertain using this clown.

sioc, youscoob and various other facebook based groups mostly consist of illiterate morons, the sooner the idiots ruin there poverty spec wrxs and **** off the better it is for all of us in my opinon.

He actually did build a drift car... Would you like to see what the guy that bought it had to say about his craftsmanship?

As many of you have found out in the last couple of months due to the high volume of work weve had in weve been turning a lot of work away we are glad to be able to tell you we are going to have a few slots in june for 3 more builds we will be putting a load of stuff up on here in the next week or so as weve been too busy.
We now have a 2.5 engine good for 3.5 bar of boost

Got some new prices on our 500r package for the 2007 onwards car
Our 2016 sti is nearly out so will ne revealed in the next couple of weeks

I dont care if you welded the heads and block together no 2.5 infact no subaru engine is going to take 3.5bar boost without lifting its heads!

16mm head studs apparently, head and block machined accordingly. Then theres a turbo to make 3.5 bar? Walls on a 2.5 are too thin for that power safely, even an EJ22 would be limited! The only way you could see that strength out a 2.5 block is to closed deck it and liner it down to a 2.2, then you run the risk of liners moving and the HG failing. Id be interested to see the outcome, and how long it lasts.

Out of interest is there even enough metal to put 16mm studs in?

I thought the same when i heard on the grapevine thats what was gonna be done! Its likely there gonna be on a bare minimum block left around the studs, making an alternate weak point.

Even an EJ22 based 2.35 will lift heads at 2.5 bar, you got no hope with a 2.5 based engine simples. Just feel sorry for the person who is being used as guinea pig to test this...

Exactly. Knowing the limits is one thing, pushing them will be catastrophic for someone :/

You always know when someone is a bit iffy...when they start banging on about how much boost....blah ..blah. If you build to a higher compression, which takes skill and attention to detail, then you do not need to run so much boost.

However I am sure if an industrial size tub of Silcone is used and a welder is borrowed of Banny all will good

Big boost doesnt mean a thing. With the right set up of components, the correct amount of fuel, timing and boost combined can make good power figures. Theres too many people chasing big numbers when in the real world, its down to driver and set up, not a graph you can brag about to your mates at the pub.👍

Don't most 2.5s come with avcs as standard?

I wasn't even the first to run alcatek and avcs on a v3. Close to it but not first....
