Awesome, would i still be able to use my standard ecu if so how limited would the tuning be? Or is it worth going aftermarket?
Your OEM WRX ECU will run the 2.1 engine with the newage inlet/sensors etc - as long as you use the cam and crank triggers from the newage engine not the V6. Pretty sure they can be fitted OK.
If you do go AVCS, then you'd need an OEM newage STi ECU.
Power wise - I ran OEM STi ECU up to 500bhp OK and others have gone higher.
