I saw this then looked at my computer to see if it was APRIL 1ST......

find it very hard to believe that the tanker driver could do this as he is doing it for a living and as somebody already said there would have been cars broken down before you guys even go to the pumps !!!!

It is this - in a nutshell.

I have done it twice over the years. And it has always been at a time in life when I have been leaping in out of different vehicles both diesel and petrol on a regular basis.

Ive put diesel im my classic sti begore . Only £10 worth if i remember right . I started the car and it ran for 10seconds cut out . Tried it again then realised what id done .

There was a mechanics garage joined onto the petrol station . Pushed the car to there workshop. Pumped out as much of the diesel as they could pushed car back to the pump and filled the tank with the right fuel . Thankfully it drove fine

Happened in a Tesco station just acorss the road from me. One guy had only just bought a car and wasn't too pleased. Station was closed for a couple of days.

I have done both

Diesel in a petrol and vice versa

These days it has been petrol in my diesel,

I usually get the AA to tow me home, I then siphon the petrol out using the fuel pump - and use it in my mowers & chainsaw etc

The car seems to run a little better afterwards - sort of engine / fuel line flush lol
