I still don't have the bottle to try anything other than the Bridgestone RE050A. Used them for years on the road, in the wet, on the strip, on the circuit, in the snow and off-road and I can't complain....although they're only on a WRX, so (and I'm sure trinity will confirm) are barely being pushed to the limit

Im running eagle f1s on my blob sti, ive really put them through their paces in both dry and wet conditions and have nothing but confidence in them. Excellent tyres imo.
Im running uniroyal rainsport 3s on the missus 207 gti and am equally impressed with them and even more so being at half the price of my f1s.

My first 330bhp blob wrx had toyo t1r's fitted, I hated every minute of driving in anything other than perfectly dry conditions. I replaced them with sessantas and the difference was night and day for the better. Even with an empty car park and a foot of snow on the ground it was great
My latest 330bhp blob had RE050's fitted with 5mm tread, they were ok, but weren't great, not much feedback and didn't inspire confidence. I replaced them with over 3mm tread left (and gave them to a member that needed some for the MOT ), and the difference was noticeably better
Trinity won't be able to confim due to being banned again for trolling the wrx

or 225's are only £68 each

Fitting should be between £10 and £15 per tyre inc balancing, phone around any tyre fitters in your area for prices, be cheeky and one will offer a cheap price

I've been running the new Yoko 105 Advan's since June and been impressed. Stiff sidewalls (so a little more crashy than the PS3 or Eagle F1's) but for me the trade off was worth it in the improved turn in and reduced floaty feeling over crests and direction changes that you get with softer tyres. Good in the wet, resist aquaplaning & are awesome in the dry. I wouldn't expect them to be any better/worse than the equivalent tyre in the snow though, i.e. utter crap. Not expensive either which is why I risked a gamble as my previous experiences with Yoko road tyres in the wet have not filled me with confidence.

You won't regret trying the sessantas
