I have been a big Montoya fan ever since I watched him on Euro sport, driving the most awesome lap I have ever seen.

It was on one of those concrete barrier lined Indycar street circuits, and I think it was a qualifying lap.

He was so on it that he came around one of the corners and just, and I mean just, clipped his outer wheels on the concrete barriers, then to my amazement he did the same on the next two corners,he was doing it deliberately!!.Awesome stuff

That was the best car control I have seen by anybody for a long time.I reckon he will be recognised as one of the top couple of drivers before long.

Andy

PS F1 is getting better but I still prefere Cart.Their onboard footage is especially good

Hey even I can't agree more about someone to give schuie a hard time, about time there was another proper racer on the track. Even MS agrees with that, after the the move JPM pulled on him in Brazil he was complentary about JPM being a proper chellenger.

But JPMs move on Sunday was dirty - even Martin (on the Mclaren payroll) Brundle said he was out of line and stupid. Perhaps no dirtier than MS in his dirty heyday, but dirty none the less.

Thumbs up

Reported by Autosport.com today:

"Having watched the race on television and seen what happened on lap 16," said
Schumacher, "I can say that it was less serious than I had thought at the time. I want to make it clear that, in my opinion, it was a normal race incident, as indeed I said later on Sunday night. It has to be said that when you sit in the car, you don't get the overview of the situation which you can have looking from outside."

Says it all really.
