Blimey, I wince at paying £480 fully comp. It's a wonder that you guys can afford to eat after paying off your insurance premiums, then you've got fuel/tax/servicing/mods/trackdays. I bet some of you haven't paid for your cars outright either....

I must be doing something wrong???

Are you all drug dealers/pimps??

Splat....
Where in Scotland are you? that is one helluva good
quote. I have exactly the same car/ncd/age only
difference seems to be tracker and maybe postcode.
Ps was it a special number or just direct lines normal
phone number? I phoned them and they told me they wouldnt touch imports.

Driving Machine,
whoops,forgot to add that bit

Yep having a brother in the Motortrade helps a little.Because i drive cars to and from the auctions part time i have to have trade insurance. For himself it was only about £400 fully comp but for no sports cars and a limit of value of £4000.With a bit of persuesion(sp?) he agreed to let me be on his insurance Only if i drive cars for him for Free and pay 3/4 of the policy!!!!!Ba*****.
The fun iv'e had with these cars has been worth it.

Also i have had mates who think i'll just get a trade policy when they are working in pubs, offices etc etc.You have to have proof of being a car dealer/mechanic etc,and you have to show this proof every so often to the insuarance company

I pay £37 for fully comp on my Space Shuttle with no no-claims and currently serving a ban for docking with the international Spacestation while drunk. All mods are declared but I have to be careful where I drop my booster rockets because my excess goes up if I drop them over land.

Edited to say: And you wouldn't beleive the tracking device I have to use!
