Who Do You Think Will Die In 2017?
#32
I have lost loads of people, mainly family, but a few friends too, when I was 15 one of my mates drowned (he went fishing with a club, but he didn't tell the lads he was with that he had epilepsy, they found him face down in the lake). When I was 17 a friend that I played snooker with (he was 50) got robbed and beaten up, he then developed cancer and died shortly after.
I have known a couple of fitness finatics that have died in their 30's
It's sad when it happens, but [it sounds harsh] you have got to get on with YOUR life. Being sad and thinking 'what if?' won't bring them back. They wouldn't want you to be sad for ages either

Wise post. We're all dying day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year. What we have lived so far is bygone, and the death of those lived moments. I don't think we all will complete our full course in 2017, and reach the final destination, though. Some of us may. Who knows. Live in the present moment and rejoice the life for now.

Yes, I wouldn't rule out the word ending in 2017 or any year TBH, but this thought still seems far-fetched. And yes, you're right that the most unexpected happenings would cause a certain look on one's face, which you may see if you remain alive to see it. After all, it will be a tremendous shock to one's system. Anyhoo, I'm guessing that if the whole world ends in 2017 in one shot, we all will end with it, and won't survive to see one another's face etc. Well, unless the Welsh part of world ends sooner than wherever abouts you dwell.

No one knows if they will wake up tomorrow, or if they will meet their maker in an accident that isn't their fault
Be happy with what you have, yes, you could have more money, yes, you could earn more, yes, you could have a bigger house. But don't dwell on negative points. If you want to earn more money, look for a new job, different career, better qualifications. Moaning about it won't change anything, put that effort into improving yourself
I can drive, I have a job, I have kids, I have a beautiful wife, I am happy with everything in my life and I'm not jealous of people with more money, newer cars or bigger houses or men with a women that put their make up on with a trowel and think they are good looking
