To be honest, I think looking at the newly cut keys, the "professional" at Timpsons has completely fkuced them both up for me.
I've just done an overlay from new key shape to old and they are horrifically different. Can't see them ever working.
Well that was £36 well spent then! Great!

Well I've just been back to Timsons and after listening to the standard replies, we shouldn't be cutting customers keys according to our business policy, only our own supplied keys, no keys are guaranteed, it's at your risk etc etc he did agree to have a look and another go.
Put both the keys back on the machine and strangely enough quite a bit more material came off again.
Both keys now work in my car perfectly! woo hoo!
Don't actually start the car as I've still got to sort my transponder issue out. But at least the keys are now done ready!

only 1key left over that I saved for sir brownpants but his are sorted
No more in till end of Feb / march

Timpsons didnt charge me for cutting key, just asked me to put £1 in charity box because I took my own key. Attachment 22158

I seen a cheap key ad on eBay and put link on here seller got so wound up with messers he sold me his stock cost price
So I knocked them out cheap All gone now though till next time ehh
