I've been binning their threatening letters for years.

I pay Sky more than enough to watch television and have absolutely no intention of paying some outdated licence fee to a left wing biased organisation like the BBC.

There are dozens of on line clips as to how to deal with the goons if they turn up at your door.
They have no automatic right of entry nor any legal right to interview you under caution ( despite that being heavily stressed in their threatening letters).

If they do turn up at your door, say nothing, just shut the door in their face.

I dont have a TV and just keep "returning to sender" which I presume costs them the no postage surcharge which now stands at £2 because there is no fresh stamp on the letter

I don't have a TV licence or
a driving licence .
I don't have car insurance or life insurance.
I don't even have a mortgage ,
But I do have my testes and prostate checked every year by Brenda and insist no glove as I'm allergic to rubber - which is not actually true , it just feels better.

I've had the bullying letters too on a property that wasn't being lived in at the time (but furnished). They will never stop; still get them at work because we had a TV delivered there (the seller forwards the address to the TVLA

Words of of the law I read (unless it's changed) did mention they could prosecute if there was a "intent" to watch a live broadcast; I just turned the TV round so it faced the wall with the aerial disconnected; as clearly to any nosey sod that did look through the window, there was no intent.

Bear in mind if they do have goons making calls, it would be wise not to have the TV in full view of the front window, unless of course you aren't watching live broadcasts.

From wiki:

Some information regarding TV detection technology was revealed as part of a freedom of information request made to the BBC in 2013, which included details of a search warrant. The warrant revealed that a BBC contractor had used an "optical detector" to reveal the possible presence of a TV.[10] The warrant stated that: "the optical detector in the detector van uses a large lens to collect that light and focus it on to an especially sensitive device, which converts fluctuating light signals into electrical signals, which can be electronically analysed. If a receiver is being used to watch broadcast programmes then a positive reading is returned." [10] The BBC stated that this was strong evidence that a set was "receiving a possible broadcast".
"Optical detector" LMAO. So it's some bloke in van spying through your window with camera then?!
