Amazing the wide range of answers but for me a miltek with twinscroll sounds awesome on boost and is also important to me as I do track days and they are just about track friendly, I'd agree sometimes the build quality might not be the very best but guess you can't have everything, I've had sti's and Spec c's for the last 15 years so think I've got bit of knowledge on this subject Cheers Rob

Did you not read my post clearly? I didn't disagree with you there, seems some are ok, others are not. It's a sound I prefer without being chavish sounding hence I like them, I've had 2 in past and haven't had a problem. Mixed reviews on quality I suppose but I like the sound, which is what I put anyway.

Milltek systems are **** rusty and raspy kind of tinny should be left on an r32 golf
Blitz nur spec is marmite either you hate it or love it 2 years was a long time
Hks titanium one piece i am currently using is the one I can live with for sound and quality making the car much more pleasent to drive fast or slow sound is just quality as are the looks
my opinion after trying all three on a equal length twinscroll setup

I have a turbo back Milltek, sports cat setup and its really good. Nice crisp deep burble and opens up to a fairly loud and still crisp roar when planted. Its a old system tho, prob 8years or so at least. No rust, no problems. Deffo recommend. Dont know about newer designs or materials used.

I've had three Milltek systems now on different cars and never had any issues. I'm hopefully picking up a 2003 WRX STI PPP next month and am contemplating what to do with the exhaust as I want it to be a bit louder than it currently is.
Does anyone know if the PPP exhaust has a centre resonator? Might start by putting a non-res centre section if that's the case. Otherwise I might go down the H&S system route, sounds much nicer than anything else I've heard from YouTube videos but would be good to hear a few in person too.
