Confession time!

I have bought another iPad!!!

Question I have now please is why doesn't a mobile phone sim work in a tablet?

I'm tempting by this, but don't know if it works in a tablet?

I took my Three sim out of my personal phone (which hasn't been used for 10 months) and it didn't work although it has unlimited data and is still a rolling contract of £17pm, checking the online bumf this is why: http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-...,Case=Obj(1883)

Could you not just tether the iPad to your phone? That's what i tend to do on holiday.

I have in the past, but for lots of reasons I don't anymore:

a) I have a work phone, so I don't use my personal phone as I don't wish to carry two mobiles.
b) I am on Sim only contract, so my own phone is an old Iphone 5 which is now sluggish at the bets of times.
c) Three imposed a contract change to me whereby I can only tether 2gb a month although I am on unlimted data on the phone.
d) Tethering to my work phone is not a good idea as the data allowance is poor - 500mb I think.

So I could do with a data sim of at least 10gb per month.
