The bit i don't get is you went to collect the car after it went back to have a running issue sorted... it still wasn't right but you took the car anyway and handed more money over..
You must of spoken to them prior to making the trip, did they tell you it had been fixed ?

They fit ohlins coilovers and whiteline arbs and mishmoto rad and breather system so I paid them for that only
They said the front lambda wasn’t working that it’s possibe the. Rand new sensor was faulty
To get another one replace and see how the car was
I paid for fitting of the parts above and collected the car
Hope that answers your question

You really need to take mm up on his offer on diagnosing, fix etc foc, and if there's some way you can both or 3 of you meet half way regarding recovery etc.
You take it elsewhere to fix then it's still going to cost you all over again from scratch regards map and to fix whatever is broken etc.
You need to draw the line somewhere, take them up on the offer, it's well documented on here so taking it now I don't think it will do anything for them to not correct and fix fault.
I'm sure at this point they will want to correct everything and put it to bed as these threads are not a preferred method lol

From the responses Tyron Bob Rawle I had plenty of time to mull it over and he will never touch my car again I have a few options to who’s going to fit and map the syvecs I’ll keep ye posted on developments

No one had one in stock being a Jdm hatch it’s a bit of an odd ball
I got a new sensor took a few weeks
Removed the sensor that was in the car a matter of months tested the sensor it’s perfect
They could of checked contuinity in the sensor in 5 mins would of told them the sensor wasn’t faulty and then investigated but that told me enough of

We already determined the second sensor was working perfectly when we tested it
I’m in a position we’re I don’t want to spend anymore money arseing around with the the oe ecu for what I already paid I’d be half way to syvecs as it is

Before we change the ecu
I’ll get a full report on what’s going on with it and we will see who’s right or wrong
Id of let bob have another go if he was willing to come to me
After reading his initial posts and the way the thread developed I started to look at other options excluding him

That’s what I want going forward
Tbh couldn’t figure out why bob wouldn’t come here afte he maps all over Europe
Perhaps he doesn’t like free hotels in Southern Ireland
When that became clear early on I had to move on

just my 2pence opinion, but Id have wanted to get to the bottom of the current known sensor issues, and make sure its ok before buying a new ECU and expecting a mapper to then map the car and fault find at the same time,
After this thread it may even put a few mappers off touching the car.
#240
so once you sort the front sensor issue, and the car runs fine, will you be back to post an apology to those you have slagged off on the forum ?
