My car is off the road still.Had a problem with the friction plate getting damaged when being fitted.A new one was ordered but when it arrived it was the wrong one.
The ACT clutch was sold.

slightly off topic, i bought 2x exedy oranic 6sd clutches from same garage £800 for both . the one in T25 great lots of stick @ 420bhp but the 340R shopping car always stinks on slow tight turns.

so after 6k miles i need reliabilty so replaced it with a AP racing organic clutch, nearly £950 what amazed me, package up AP box and reputable source, friction plate was marked AP Racing.

but the pressure plate was stamped exedy!!! seems AP couldn,t be bothered to stamp their own name on it. TBH not much difference really as stinks just the same.

It was ok going through the gears but on slow manoeuvres or reversing it stank of burning clutch.

our std deal is more cost effective than you paid on both the Exedy & AP options.........

Exedy always held the copyright for the "pull" set-up and hence APR buy in components from Exedy and then modify to their spec, part of the reason for the increase in cost
