Disagree with the lag, the billet I had (same turbo) on the 2.1 was great (running with headers), so I'd imagine it would be much better on the 2,35 and 2.5.
Rob, I came from an 18g, to the s206, are you seriously telling me there’s not a major lag difference?

Of course the 18g is going to spool earlier than a larger turbo, but certainly not late unless it been set up and supported wrongly. However I would doubt "anyone" would have run an 18g on a 2.5 so it's hardly a commission.

The S206 billet on my 2.1 I ran spooled well, and it certainly wasn't laggy at all. As for scary, no it wasn't, the boost came in progressively (supported by apexi) and at no point did I find it a handful. I've had my fair share of cars and I have to say the 2.1 S206 combination was the best until now.

Now running a 2.5 MD321V twin scroll with RCM headers, which I would guess probably gets on full boost before a standard hatch! Proof is in the pudding, let's see how I get on at TOTB 😎
