Surely you have a better chance this way, rather than trying to make a claim against a company that no longer exists? If payments were made personally, to a named individual, then surely they are responsible in regards to refunds etc.

Some success
I’ve now had some reparation made towards the latest rebuild.
Sadly Jamie wants nothing to do with it. Apparently he was only breaking the cars. He had nothing to do with the mechanical side. Whilst I agree he was no mechanic, at the end of the day was still a director of JJM, therefore has a responsibility.

That's his stock response I'm afraid - it's never his fault. However when I was there and a customer came back to have yet another gearbox fitted (the one they originally fitted was knackered) I stood and watched Jamie do the work, remove the old box etc while Mark was cocking up my car, so for him to say all he did was parts is far from true.

Thanks, you're not the only one to come up with that info. End of the day, according to my solicitor it doesn't make any difference - he was still a director. The others coughing up has landed him in it.
I'm going on holiday in 10 days, if nothing is forthcoming I'll let them deal with it when I get back.
