When chevron did my build on my last car I was satisfied with the end result.
Simon was a nightmare to get hold unfortunately but as a whole I did find chevron to be very thorough and friendly.
They are not cheap and I felt it was a bit of a slow turnaround but like I said, I was satisfied when I got my car back.

Bob Rawle is about as charismatic as a tin of paint and I was always left feeling like a c_ck for asking questions.

I have gone elsewhere with my current car but I recently enquired about a turbo by email and they were very fast and efficient with their reply.

Like most things subaru related, when someone complains about a trader there are 100 others waiting to blow hot air up their *****, believe me that happens a lot on scoobynet.
There are some proper dodgy people operating in and around the subaru community, do your research.

I only buy new parts if I can help it and I only use one garage these days, works better for me.

The above is just my opinion based on my own experience.

Goods cosmetically incorrect.
Purchaser appears without urgency.
If cosmetically correct goods available? Instruct seller to replace, within reasonable timescale.

Not dealing with them before has zero to do with it, if anything it gives me an outside un biased view.

And expecting a refund after 2 yrs is un realistic and not a reasonable request in my opinion.

I was shown a picture of a cooler with no branding, so why would I need to travel down to them? Would you travel a couple of hours to check and make sure the parts after being shown pictures?

And I honestly don't understand what difference 1 day to 10 years makes. I order a part, they get it wrong, I go to collect, it's not the right part ...give me my money back simples.

Surely two years to is more than enough to get it right! And they said they can't get hold of these special intercoolers anymore.

There are other parts there too, a turbo that cost me £2500 and a Chevron Race spec radiator which was £800. I spoke to the bank who said it was outside of the clawback period, but it could be pulled back if it meets any fraud criteria. As it's an odd situation its currently being looked into, but based on the situation they believe they can recover the money, but this means it has to be for all the parts.
