That's life mate. It'll go when someone serious wants it, not just dreamers, 14 year olds or dealer's employees pretending to be genuine buyers and effing me around for a week. (You know who you are) I'm in no rush.

Mark, with all due to respect to all of us on here, u should know u are better off advertising in Evo, Autotrader etc.
We have seen so many scoobs on here that we're all too picky, too tight and too used to messing sellers around.
A car that is just as good as a P1 should fetch more than 12K. Seems crazy to me that people are happy to spend 20K on a P1.
They should draw up a chart to compare the specs and then drive them. An Sti V5/6 with 17inch alloys and a UK setup suspension is
just as good as a P1. If it isn't, then the difference doesn't justify the price difference.

Agree with importsti, get it on Autotrader, stick 3K more than you are offered on here and it will sell - price too cheap and people are suspicious of a bargain. Sold my 94WRX a couple of weeks back for significantly more than they are advertised for on here.
Be patient and stick with it
Best of luck

Cheers for your support blokes. The thing is, advertising costs money and attracts phone calls, tyre kickers and joy riders. As I'm in no rush what so ever this is just interesting to me. SO - If you want it buy it, if you don't who cares but don't waste my time asking stupid questions. It takes the kids to and from school until someone wakes up.

Yeah know what you mean about advertising. I put mine on Autotrader internet only, for £15 for 6 weeks. I was lucky didn't get too many tyre kickers, but when peole came to see it I told them they wouldn't get to drive it straight away - I would take them out for a spin first and only if they were serious would they get a go. The guy who bought it only drove it after he had put a deposit down and I knew he was 99% going to buy it.
Good luck anyway

Gorgeous car and just what I will be looking for in about 2 months! Damn! If you still have it by then, I'll take it off you for a decent price.
Don't suppose you are interested in an Elise are you?

Look, the longer this takes the more times I end up driving the bloody thing in the wet. The more times I drive it in the wet the more I want to keep it. I need to convince myself to sell it and you're not helping much.

Dunno, Supras are funny things to value. Mate got one on an M for £10,500 with all the stuff and 500 bhp. Then you look for one and there are M's for 14/15. All these types of cars are only worth what sumwun wants to pay.

Mark,
Sorry off subject I know but could you post your RR printout for the BHP/torque. Just wondered how the VF22 goes?? i.e where is peak torque & power.
Nice motor by the way and hey my Bro had a P1 upto 2 weeks ago and my STiV was way better..... OK I had a load of mods and a GEMS but his had NO climate (AC only) or retractable mirrors and his aerial comes stinging out of the w/screen pillar. Unlike the electric item F/Fitted on the JAP model. So in summary ..Ummm nice quality on a £30K motor.
Good luck with the sale

Now I've decided to sell it again and I have another problem. I can't find the printout from when it made 350lb and don't know where it was done. If anyone is still in contact with Tim King maybe they could ask him for me. So I can now only prove 305bhp and 307lb as per http://dyno.scoobynet.co.uk/jap/tim_king.htm
Oh well, any offers?
