Just a word of friendly advice to all of you who were thinking of simply dropping your new filter in the easy way, like I did, when I got one of these a few months ago - don't take the easy option, ie. just unclipping the top of the filter box by the two metal side clips and slotting in your new filter! I'm probably preaching to the wrong people, but I've just replaced mine with an induction kit and when I took the filter box lid off properly (unscrewed the 'flexible' intake hose & lifted the top lid off) I found a right puddle of green goo in the bottom of the filter box. I've read of this before, but kind of ignored it!
So, don't forget to take the filter box lid off completely in order to ensure your ITG is properly seated!
Don't mean to scare monger, cause my car drove fine with the filter probably not in right - but it would have wrecked the MAF in due course. Do it properly!!

Apparently this green goo isnt a problem - the point is it drops down to the bottom of the box and doesnt get sucked through the MAF. So when changing/checking all you need to do is wipe out the goo.

Trouser, how long is this group buy on for as I would like to come up later on in the month and possibly get a backbox and centre decat to make the 80 mile trek a bit more worthwhile, so may as well get the ITG at the same time?
