I dunno what the reliability issues are with DCCD cars or if it's a common problem, but i think you'll regret settling for a WRX when your set your heart on a STI and have the money to get one.

The best thing from this thread is the fact that you are spending time to look around rather then going all in on the first car you get. Nice to see that you are not rushing into it.

I spotted a highly modded hawkeye on ModifiedScoobies (its a closed FB group but maybe around on other sales pages) not sure if it would be your cuppa tea.

Are you having a look at other places like autotrader piston heads etc must be fair few around.

If you are up in Bedford and anything comes Oxfordshire way I would be more than happy to come with you to have a look as an extra pair of eyes...

Best of luck on your purchase Pal!

hello, yes i did go all in at the start , i had to have a word with my self lol

thats very nice of you to offer that , thats made my day a little bit better as to what happened at 6.30 this morning!!

ebay account got hacked, some one did around 700 bids/best offers on winning items i have nearly 5k in my ebay basket committed to buy , i was lucky enough to catch it in time for me to close my pay pal as that is linked to all my cards , some dodgy mo fo in canada

90% of the winning items the seller had zero feed back so a scam on a whole new level

was on the phone to ebay for 1 hr this

now back to sti hunting lol

That is a little crazy i had something similar with 4x£300 transactions that got taken my bank as Pending, in the end i got it back but the money were in 'limbo' for 3-5 days... hopefully not the case with your banks.

But like i said happy to help drop me a PM if you looking anything this Oxon or essex way.
