yes i am having new oven trays delivered tomorrow HOWEVER im not putting up with the poor service or the damaged slab, ok its only a few little marks but our thats not the point, our patio cost best part of £10k with the slabs alone costing £3.5k so they can get ****ed and give me a fair compensation.
lets see how far i can push it and see what i can get out of them, as somebody mentioned before us brits need to stop taking it up the ****ter and speak up.........

get yourself some cctv, honestly its the 2nd best thing ive bought for my house (aircon being the absolute best).i have 4 x hi def colour view cameras covering my property, 2 at the front, 1 on the garage covering the drive and 1 covering the garden, you will be amazed at what it captures. im currently on a warpath against drivers using my drive to turn round on, i live in a cul-de-sac with a turning area at the end but since ive had my drive block-paved the amount of drivers (delivery and normal cars) using it to turn around in is a joke. one woman felt my wrath the other week as she pulled her car onto my drive the full length and sat there for a good 15 seconds whilst she looked at her phone, well that was enough time for me to launch my fat *** into action so i bolted outside and asked her what the **** she was doing, she said "oh its ok i was just turning around as its a dead end"...............oh thats ok then im sorry please carry on i responded, i thouigh it was my driveway i didnt realise it was a public turning centre, i then asked for her address so i could repay the favour on her drive but she wouldnt give it to me. turns out she was a visitor to a woman 3 doors down so she has had a word with her.also had 2 workmen in a big smelly old rusty transit who were working on the drains down the road pull all the way onto my drive and reversed off.i find it rude, i wouldnt do it to somebody else so i dont expect it to be done to me.

Chain across the drive or electric gates or posts etc , car parked over your legal drive as in dropped kerb , your car is on the drive and you can’t get out , then ticket and car repositioned at cost to person who parked there , other option buy some car skates and move it yourself 😂

So damaged goods even if done by Amazon , are likely to be the supplier to resolve , basically any delivery driver appears to do what they want and it’s still down to the supplier regards to goods delivered , small claims court about 40£ on line if supplier is not playing ball , damage directly caused by the delivery , Amazon have a claims department called ARC claims limited cctv photos invoice , try them first , they are hard work or again small claims court with cctv photo and an invoice of repair/quote 👍

You're at the first line of complaints. They have a certain level of discretion and can only award a certain level of money. thats their max discretion. What you should do then is reject the offer and it should go to the escalated complaints team. they have more discretion.

So yodel today emailed and said the marks on my slabs are some discolouration in them and that as the oven trays only weigh 2kg there was no way they could cause the damage.
i told them that I was expecting that type of reply so I will pursue the matter in a different way....
Time to bring out the big guns I think........

Should ask them for their full test results as they must have carried out extensive testing with the same package and slabs to be so confident that damage could never occur
