Wink

2....

Sorry!

The six pot caliper has a larger pad and (obviously) two more pistons to operate it. This means that there is a larger clamping surface on the disc. Better heat dissipation and greater braking force....

Close Mike.

Retail price for the 6 pot kit is actually £1,524.90 + VAT (1,791.76).

The AP Agent who brought about the kits being referred to above, who routinely sells them below RRP anyway).

Cool

I'm up for a set of 4 pots if the price is right and they fit under the standard 16" wheels on my 95WRX!

Sorry for not having replied earlier but I have had a few PC problems at home and never get time to log on at work.

I am happy to see the amount of interest and let you know the basics Weds or Thurs.
I will now go back and read all your replies as I haven't done that yet.

For what it's worth I fitted AP six pot's to my WRX about 10 month's ago.I haven't regretted it although the price was/can be frightening ! Uprating the brakes is IMHO about THE best and (probibly the most important) improvement that can be done to most cars, especially early models of Scooby's equipped with 2 pot brakes.
So my advice is go for it.

Regards,
John

Cool

I too was waiting for the discounted price on AP's to see how good the pricing was.

Anyway we at New Age Motorsport are selling our AP 4 Pot Brake Kit for £1,185 + VAT, a new Banner for brakes should be up soon and so should the website.

Why don't you all calm down.
Thingg don't happen overnight.

My contact has gone away for th bank holiday.
If any of you can't wait then I wish you luck.
But for those that are hoping to get a bargain, watch this space.

Try not to listen to the jealous and negative out there.

J.
PS. I am going back to my barbi now as I think the steaks are done.
