What ever you do make sure no one see`s you and dont tell anyone.
Make sure you have an alibi.
Go get the little bastar* and seek revenge for what he has done to you.
REVENGE IS SWEET.

I have an answer to get his name and address - ring 999 and tell the police that a scooter with reg no. is driving around the streets with, what 'could' be a gun (you KNOW its a screwdriver!)
Then, and this is the clever bit, you turn your scanner onto the police channel and wait for the 'Vehicle Check' - they will state his name and address over the airways - and youve GOT him
Love the idea of tieing his scooter to an old MOT failure and driving off with it being dragged behind - shame he will never know why - eh?

Why did he pick on your car - do you know him? Have you cut him up?
Sounds to me like he has a grudge with YOU!
PS Is he bigger than you - resultant course of action would be dependant upon this!

Happened on my way home this afternoon. Coming through the city (London) loads of traffic, ***** decides he wants to come up the inside and across the front of me (usual thing). He manages to squeeze through then drives at 5-10 mph holding up me and a host of other cars.
He then pulls over waits till I go past and follows me for about 5 mins staying a couple of cars lengths behind. I then have to stop at a pedestrian crossing when he pulls up down the nearside (again) stops and pulls out a screwdriver. I decide to get out the car (foolish I know) and he drags it down the nearside passenger door and screams off (w4nker). At this point I was going to try and follow (he cut down a side street) but I decided it was best to ask for a witness. There was a black taxi behind who had seen the incident from the start who gave me his number.
Just got back from the Police station I don't hold out much hope

I take it that you were giving him some grief as he was holding you (and others)up.
Nine times out of ten you can get away with it. There are some serious nutters out there!
Be thankful that he pulled out a screwdriver and not a handgun!
Best of luck with the bill!

DAZ 4,I work in london most days driving around,Give me the Plate and r keep me eye out,had same thing done to me,all panels down passenger side,I know what i would do if i caught up with him,Email me offline with no. Jayz.

Surely if you have the reg plate, and an independant witness, you could bring (and i know its gona cost ya) a private summons on him?
Best way is to defently get your own back, but the chances of finding out who he is are very slim

post it here so we can all keep an eye out. i live local to sidcup, so if i see him i'll follow and find out where he lives - although admittedly the chances would be slim. what kind of moped was it? colour/make/etc and what colour lid was the **** wearing?

Just a thought, get some reg plates made up with the little s***s number on them and go on a crime spree, fill up with petrol & drive off, speeding etc... he will get so many visits from the cops then....
Personally I'd get in touch with my local hells angels chapter and have him hospitalised..

Bloody annoying...but! Why didn't you let him overtake in the first place? I ride a bike and can't understand the car drivers mentality when they won't let me pass in traffic. It doesn't cost them any time..another case of jealousy? I'm not condoning what he did, but it seems like you may have wound him up?
Guy does deserve a kicking, but maybe you should be more courteous in future?

Hi,
Why should these scumbags be able to get away with it?. If the Police aren't interested in bringing a public prosecution, there is another (probably preferable) method of legal recourse - via the small claims court.
Provided that you can establish their identity, you can issue a county court summons for damages for less than £50 on-line. Damages could be for respraying charges, other out of pocket expenses like hire cars etc...
I believe that if they don't attend court they judgement is awarded against them by default, and you can then send baliffs round to collect something of appropriate value, like all of their furniture or perhaps a scooter ?. At the very least you've screwed their chances of being able to obtain credit for a couple of years.
The other major benefit is that you are in control of the process, and don't have to rely on the Police to do anything.
I'll see if I can dig out the URL for you when I'm at home.
Cheers,
Alex

Chuckster - There was no overtaking involved the traffic had come to a stop and he was pushing the bike through a gap the size of his bike give or take a few millimetres
Happened as well last week and the guy hit my wing mirror....enough said.

Ok fella, was this line that confused me :
"He only slowed down to 5 mph after he managed to squeeze through when I wouldn't let him "
As I said, may have misunderstood what u wrote.

Take it from a guy in the know you won't get the address from any sources other than the DVLA and Police. Both of these will definately not give out the keeper details as it is an instant prison term for breach of the data protection act. You WILL NOT get it off the net from any sites.
Go to the Police. A criminal offence like this will be taken seriously and if it doesn't ask to make a formal complaint, it will be then! Although if the bikes nicked or not registered to the guy then you are screwed and may have to think of other things.
Good luck and may he burn in Hell!
