Thumbs up

I believe 'our man' Sam with 'that' EVO7 is heading for donno this weekend
With a fresh GEMS ECU too I believe although he's gone very quiet since mapping on Thursday ? Maybe that's a good sign, secret weapon an all that

chris, you seem to be forgetting the fact you no longer have HKS headers on the car and are running standard. When Scott RR the car it had the HKS headers, that will make a diference.

Adam, Type RA V-Limited's have the same 1st-4th as the TypeR but 5th is higher than a TypeR or TypeRA non V-Limited, so finding a good gear to run on the rollers isnt so easy, 5th is probably too high.

Whenever i bench dyno an engine i use the whole instalation, including the Fuel tank and fuel system. t's very easy to simulate real loading too.

Question

The Type RA V limited probably has 4.44 diffs. The 5th gears that I know of are:

0.730
0.826
0.970

So what 5th gear does Chris car use ?????

Carlos H.

BTW my car a MY98 STi RA ver. 4 came with 4.44 final drive and 0.82 5th gear.

LOL @ AndyF.

It's true no-one believes us!

330bhp from a UK Subaru with no FMIC? 1.5 bar? A 96? "must be an STi in disguise"!!

Seem to remember your car is white too Andy?

Must be a white car thing.

If you mop up at the trackday, it'll be "Well... your car obviously suits this kind of track more than others...on a different track....."
